ParticipantWe upgraded to all the latest versions of WooCommerce v3.2.6, Events Calendar v4.6.8, Events Tickets 4.6.2, and Events Tickets Plus 4.6.2 and now the attendee information is not being saved in the database (wp_postmeta / _tribe_tickets_meta) is not there for any new orders. The ticket order processes and we enter in the additional attendee information as part of the ticket order process, and the attendee shows on the attendees list, but there are no details being shown or saved in the database. Please help ASAP. https://www.golfcorpsolutions.com/tournaments/morelove-2 is the URL for the event.

KeymasterHi Scott,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that your attendee information is no longer saving, since updating your plugins.
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jaime,
We have tried switching to the twenty-seventeen theme, but same issue. See the attached file showing that the attendee details are still missing. Any suggestions on what might be causing the attendee details to not be updated to the database? We have been debugging and can see that the attendee details are being carried along during the ticket ordering process, but does not end up being saved in the DB.
Thanks.

ParticipantHappy to report that the issue has been resolved. Hoping to help anyone else that might face this same issue, here is what we found out… we worked with the website host (WP Engine) and discovered that Object Caching feature was caching database scripts, and so it must have held onto an older version of your script that adds the attendee information to the DB. They turned off the object caching and then it worked fine. Thanks.
