  • Hi Brad,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

We work hard to follow good design practices and – as part of that – are mindful of accessibility concerns. There may however be some areas however that don’t completely meet ADA or WCAG guidelines and we don’t claim complete compliance.

All of our plugins are built to be customizable, however, so it’s generally possible to address specific concerns that might be of particular importance to your project goals.

Both The Events Calendar and Event Tickets are freely available so please do consider taking a moment to test them out and put them through their paces/assess them for accessibility using whatever tools and strategies you prefer prior to making a purchase of one of our premium plugins – all of which build on the foundation laid by those free, core plugins.

I hope that helps and do let me know if you have any further questions ?

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Deleting past events in recurring events #1421618

    Hi John,

Unfortunately the clean up settings may not work to retroactively clean up your events.  This set up should work for all events created after you changed this settings, however you may need to manually delete your events for now.  I’d recommend trying a third-party plugin, like this one, to help you to bulk delete your events.

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Travis,

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing these additional issues on your site!

Let’s start by addressing the attendee fields issue.

As a first step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.

In addition, can you take a screenshot of what this event (https://www.prephoops.com/event/prep-hoops-series-session-1) looks like on the backend, so that I can try to replicate things on my end?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Great, let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Hi Eric,

I can confirm that links are not opening in new tabs for the pages that you mentioned with our current plugin version installed.  I cannot recall if it worked this way before, but I’d be happy to look into it if you believe that a specific previous version was set up this way.

In any case, let me know how things go and if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Nancy,

Thanks for providing me with that link.  There is unfortunately no shortocde to create the “Read More” link that you are looking for.

That was why I pointed you to our Themer’s Guide, so that you could alter the template, if that’s something you’re into.

Here is some more information about customizing the Read More text through WordPress:

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Antonio,

I’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing performance issues on your site.  Can you make sure that all of your Events Calendar related plugins are up to date, to ensure that they run optimally?

If you are not already doing this in another thread, perhaps the next step would be to understand what may be causing so many of your imports to fail.  As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Additionally, this blog post may be able to provide some more clarity about how to understand and use Query Monitor.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Event Calendar Pro Features #1421539

    Hi Kristijan,

Yes, I can confirm that this is the PRO widget without any customizations.  You can create a list widget this way right out of the box.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Location Search Error #1420910

    Hi Andre,

Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for when this issue will be fixed.  If you are able to use a location search with Filter Bar, you can hide the location search on the Tribe Bar for now, until it has been fixed.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Jen,

Thank you for your feedback.  I apologize for any inconvenience that this bug has caused you on your sites.  I can confirm that progress has been made on this bug, although I cannot give you an exact ETA for release.  I assure you that you will be notified when a fix has been released.

Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
