ParticipantHello…
I am working on setting up my events pro calendar and have run into an issue. We have classes that run for multiple weeks. For example a class is each Wednesday at 7pm for 10 weeks. I can configure the event to recur for those 10 weeks, however if a user wants to add the event to their calendar, by default it only adds the specific instance of the event to their calendar instead of the full series. Is there a way to make it so when I user adds a recurring event, all dates are added?

KeymasterHi Jay,
Welcome and thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately, by default, when you export an event from the Single Event Page, you only export that particular event, regardless of whether it is a recurring event or not.
Users can export the full month calendar view and export all events that way, but of course that would include all events and not just the events in that series.
It may be possible to achieve this with a customization, though this is beyond the scope of support that we can provide.
I’d recommend taking a look at our Themer’s Guide to see what views and templates can be copied and edited to achieve the results that you are looking for. Basically, you’ll want to copy those export buttons and functionality into another view.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHi Jamie…
Thank you for this feedback. Unfortunately, I feel this deficiency and the
cost to overcome exceeds the effort. As a result, I would like to cancel
our order for the events calendar pro. The purpose of our purchase was the
recurring event functionality. This creating a page per event and no way to
add all dates for a particular event are things that do not function
currently as we need them too. Please let me know if there is more I need to do to cancel our order.
