Is there a listing of all the shortcode definitions? I found an overview but did a lot of searches and never found a complete list.

I would like to have a normal grid view listing “photo view” with a learn more button. Right now the photo view just isn’t obviously about how to link to more information about an event with the shortcode embedded on a page. I’m not asking about the sidebar widget.

At the moment if you limit the size of characters it just gives you “…” to cut it off. No link or learn more buttons.

    Thanks.

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Here is some more information on our shortcode capabilities:

    Hi Jamie,

No, this is the overview of shortcode definitions I mentioned the first part of my question, I’m already familiar with that page. This is also not a widget – but a shortcode page embed.

For the embed calendar on a page or post – the photo view (shortcode) does not seem to offer a “read more” or “learn more” link option if you excerpt the calendar event. Is there a way to add a link for excerpted photo views?

I included a link with the first question to show an example.

    Thanks,
    Nancy

    Hi Nancy,

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

I’d recommend taking a look at our Themer’s Guide as a first step.  It can show you the views and templates that can be modified and take you through the steps on how to go about doing that.  It sounds like you are interested in modifying the Photo View, so I’d recommend looking at the templates related to Photo View.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

Also, I did not see a link included with your first response, so if you can provide that link, I may be able to provide you with some more specific assistance.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Here is the link example:

I don’t need theming help, just trying to verify is there is a read more shortcode definition. The overview of the shortcodes is really brief and not a complete listing.

    Hi Nancy,

Thanks for providing me with that link.  There is unfortunately no shortocde to create the “Read More” link that you are looking for.

That was why I pointed you to our Themer’s Guide, so that you could alter the template, if that’s something you’re into.

Here is some more information about customizing the Read More text through WordPress:

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
