    Hi Travis,

It seems that test event expired again so I cannot check again, however can you re-create the event and check in a private browser window?  This way, your browser history will not affect what you see.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Thierry,

It looks like you cannot add some of those filters to the mini calendar, but try this (or something like it) instead:

    [tribe_mini_calendar thumb=”yes” limit=”50″]

    [tribe_events_list venue=”yes” city=”yes”]

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: RSVP not working when logged out #1425614

    Hi Brian,

Can you give me some more information about the screen where you are seeing the tickets in your screenshot?

Can you try creating a new test ticket with a bare WordPress install (Default WordPress theme and only Events Calendar plugins and WooCommerce)?

Can you also try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes?

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Glad that things worked out for you!  Is there anything else I can assist you with?

in reply to: change RSVP confirmation email text #1425605

    Thanks for your explanation.

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

Here are some other templates that may be of interest to you, which you can look at within the Themer’s Guide, so that you can get closer to the results that you are trying to achieve:

    • tickets/orders-rsvp
    • tickets/rsvp.php

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: scheduled imports not running #1425600

    Hi Wayne,

I have done some investigation into the links that you’ve provided and have found a variety of results.

With this link (https://www.facebook.com/DemocraticClubSealBeach/), there is no Facebook Page there.

With this link (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100019132264938), there don’t seem to be any events there.

Let’s focus on this link: https://www.facebook.com/canyondems/, as I was able to import events from this link.  Can you take a screenshot of the way you import events and your event settings so that I can try to replicate things on my end?  In the meantime, I will set up a scheduled import for this URL so that I can test if it works for me.

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Annemarie,

Thanks for providing me with that information.

It seems that the URL that you are trying to import (or at least the one that I saw in your screenshot) is not an actual Meetup group or event.  It looks to be a search for events within the Maitland, Florida area.  If you’d like to import all of those groups listed, you will have to import them individually.

    Let me know your thoughts!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Vanessa,

Thanks for checking on things with a Twentyseventeen theme.  I actually noticed that I get the same warning, although it doesn’t seem to be affecting the functionality in any way.

You can hide that warning by enabling WP_DEBUG_LOG  or you can turn off WP_DEBUG completely.

Let me know if you have any other questions and let me know how this goes for you!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Stephen,

Thanks for providing me with that information.

As a next step, can you update all of your Events Calendar related plugins and WordPress version and test to see if the issue is still there?

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Show the event title and link in the WooCommerce cart #1424125

    Hi Vanessa,

I tried recreating the same scenario and I don’t see any error messages when adding both a ticket and a WooCommerce product to my cart, with this snippet added.

Can you try adding it to a default theme’s functions.php file and see if you get the same results?

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Travis,

The attendee form works for me with your test event (http://prephoops.staging.wpengine.com/event/test-event-3/).  Do you see the same results?

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Annemarie,

Yes, please send your full system information and set as a private reply.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

Sorry to hear that didn’t resolve your issue!

As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
