KeymasterHi Scott,
Thanks for getting back to this. Can you look at the venue information for that event on the backend? What do you see there? Can you take a screenshot for me?
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi David,
I’m glad that helped! Before we continue, do you have a license to one of our premium plugins? I was unable to locate a license with your email address. If you could provide me with that information, I’d love to continue to help you troubleshooting.
Otherwise, you can post your additional questions on our WordPress.org forum.
Let me know!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Stephen,
I completely understand your frustration and wanting things to be fixed asap. Unfortunately we cannot log in to your site per our Support Policy, but I will do my best to assist you here.
Have you been able to successfully add the plugins to your site or did you see this error as soon as you added the plugins to your site?
If so, can you delete the plugins and the licenses from your site, and start over, adding one at a time manually.
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Gretchen,
Thanks for providing me with all of that information! I did some digging and found that the error message “Sorry, this product cannot be purchased” is coming from the WooCommerce plugin itself.
You can find it in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages/woocommerce.pot
From there, you can try to replace this string using a third-party plugin, like Say What?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi John,
Thank you for providing me with all of that information. At this point, it seems like what we can do is to edit the single events template so that the sidebar shows up again, so that things will be back to normal.
To get you started, we have a guide to help you with customizing templates. Once you’ve got the template set up, you can add your sidebar to the template by using get_sidebar.
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Steve,
Thanks for providing me with that information. I have imported your Google Calendar onto my site, but I’m not quite sure what I’m looking for. Can you point me to an event that’s being imported improperly? Or point me to where the functionality isn’t working as expected?
Also, is this a scheduled import or a one-time import? Can you also provide me with your Event Aggregator settings under Events Settings < Imports?
Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Brett,
Okay, it sounds like we are getting somewhere! I tried to replicate this on my test site, but I’m still seeing expected behavior.
In that case, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sami,
I’m not sure if you saw my previous reply, as yours seems to be a duplicate. I’m glad that at least the functionality is working as expected for you. Unfortunately, that is the way that it is designed for the Contributor role at this time. You do have the option to create a new Admin user for the person checking people in, so that you see the Check-in box on the side.
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

KeymasterHi Patrick,
Try the following to remove the “Details”:

display:none;
}Let me know how that goes!
