ModeratorHello and welcome back,
We are unfortunately unable to log into customer sites. I created a scheduled import set to occur hourly and everything appeared to work properly for me. (see screenshot below)

In regards to the changes on the source calendar not being reflected on the website, we have a logged bug which should be fixed in the next maintenance release. Stay tuned to our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for that info.
Thank you so much for your patience while we fully investigated the issues and have a great rest of your day!

ModeratorHey Toby,
Welcome back and sorry to see you here under the circumstances. We are pretty limited when it comes to theme conflicts, but I’ll do my best to help out. I’ll first start by providing a few Knowledgebase articles relating to theme compatibility.
- Compatible Themes for The Events Calendar
- Settings Overview: The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO
I would also recommend reviewing our Themer’s Guide as it is the most likely resource to help achieve the layout you want.
Lastly, I took a quick look at your site and it appears the events are displaying properly. Can you let me know if you’re still having issues? Thanks again and have a great day. Cheers!

ModeratorWelcome back Jocelyn,
Sorry to see you back here under the circumstances. Can you review our Testing for conflicts guide so we can identify the exact source of conflict? It would also be helpful if you could include any screenshots and/or a short video highlighting the issues.
Please keep me updated with your progress and have a great rest of the day. Cheers!

ModeratorHey William,
I went ahead and attempted to reproduce the behavior on my test site but was unable to do so. Can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings?
We’ll need to rule out the potential for a theme/plugin conflict before proceeding. Thanks and have a good rest of your day!

Thanks again and have a great evening. Cheers!

ModeratorHi Will,
I’m glad to hear you’ve got things working for the time being. Can you please confirm you reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide? If not, please do so and reply back with what you learn.
We don’t have any logged bug reports of users reporting similar behaviors and I am unable to reproduce the behavior on my test site. Thank you and have a great rest of your day. Cheers!

ModeratorHello,
Welcome back and sorry to hear you’re having troubles. I believe you’re experiencing issues from a known bug. We have a report logged and a fix should be released in the next maintenance release. I don’t have a concrete date when that will be, but keep an eye on our Release Notes and the plugin changelogs for more info.
You can try the following steps to address the issue, though there is no guarantee it will work:
1. Backup site and database
2. Deactivate all Tribe plugins
3. Delete all Tribe plugins
4. Install/activate WP Crontrol and delete any cron jobs related to The Events Calendar.
4. Reinstall all Tribe plugins
5. Review the Testing for conflicts guide and attempt to reproduce the behaviorSorry I don’t have a better answer for you at this time and let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Dylan,
This is not an issue I’m aware of, though there is always the possibility I’ve missed something. Before we proceed, can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings?
Once we eliminate the possibility of theme and/or plugin conflict, we’ll have a better idea on how to proceed. Thanks and have a good rest of your day. Cheers!

ModeratorChristopher,
Do you mind sending me an example of a file you’re working with? Excerpts should get imported with your .csv files. I just tested to reproduce the issue using the sample events file on our CSV file examples and options KB article and the excerpts were imported properly.
If you haven’t already reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide to rule out both theme and plugin conflicts, it is a required step to receive more support. Please let me know what you find after running through that guide.
Thank you and have a good afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorCrystal,
I have a hunch your issue is related to a mixed content error we had in version 4.3.2. Can you update to 4.3.3 and test to see if the issue still occurs? I’d also install/activate a plugin such as SSL Insecure Content Fixer to help make sure the http/https issue is not a factor.
I understand this entire process has been a nightmare, so hopefully this helps get everything working properly. Please let me know how things go and have a good afternoon. Cheers!

ModeratorHey Michelle!
Thank you so much for including your solution here! Hopefully it helps Kevin! We’ll hang tight and hope for some positive news. I’ll also leave this step-by-step guide to getting Event Aggregator up and running too.
Thanks again Michelle and take care!

ModeratorHello,
I hope you had a great weekend! I’m not sure how to proceed here. I used my Inspect browser tool to see if I could come up with a fix, but was unable to do so. I wish I was able to dedicate more time to this issue but seeing it’s most likely a theme conflict, my hands are tied :-/
For more information on what is covered in the support forums, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article. If it gets beyond your level of expertise, I recommend checking out our list of customizers for more assistance.
Sorry we can’t help out more and best of luck with the conflict. Cheers!

ModeratorHi Andrew,
Welcome back 🙂
Our developer strongly suggests we stay with version 4.3.2 until you can fix the issue with https. He’s too concerned to try updating the PRO or other plug-ins now.
The issue of http/https was addressed in the 4.3.3 release, so the only way to get that fixed is by updating. You might want to install/activate a plugin such as SSL Insecure Content Fixer to help further assist. Additionally, I recommend updating our plugins with the default WP theme temporarily activated and all plugins other than ours deactivated.
Once we can get the http/https issue resolved, we’ll see if it then has a positive impact on your ability to import events. Please let me know how things go and have a good afternoon!
