    Hello!

We’ve run into the following issue:

Setting the end date appears to create an event duration that can’t be changed without refreshing the page.

For example, if you begin an entry today and both the start date and end date are Dec. 5 (by default), then you set the end date to Dec. 15, it seems you now have a 10-day event. You can’t change that end date to Dec. 14- all dates prior to Dec. 15 are grayed out. If you need to change the start date to Dec. 10, the end date automatically becomes Dec. 20.

We noticed this before on the admin side, and were able to get around it by saving as draft, which refreshed the page, saving any other information entered, and allowed the start date or end date to be changed. But for a community user, that isn’t an option.

    Thanks,
    -William

    Hey William,

I went ahead and attempted to reproduce the behavior on my test site but was unable to do so. Can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings?

We’ll need to rule out the potential for a theme/plugin conflict before proceeding. Thanks and have a good rest of your day!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
