ParticipantWe’re having a lot of problems with our events calendar plugin. I’ve been speaking to a member of the community who is trying to add events to our calendar, but when she goes to select a venue, the page clears everything she’s entered and she has to start over again. She has tried with two different browsers and with several different events.
Also, when I go to add events manually, there is no way to enter a new venue. “Use new venue” is an option on the drop-down menu, but there’s no way to actually add one. This is also true for the Organizer field. There is also no way to add recurrence rules. Nothing is there except a button that says “Add new Rule,” and when you click that the page just refreshes.
A calendar to select a date used to pop up on adding a new event through the dashboard as well, but that no longer happens.
Our plugin and WordPress are up-to-date, as well as our theme. It is not that. We have gone through several different iterations of problems with community members uploading events—this is just the newest one.
Here is a link to the .zip file of the theme that we are using on our site. https://www.dropbox.com/s/sg0m757kpi7u04a/themeforest-10434558-sense-responsive-blog-magazine-news-theme.zip?dl=0

ModeratorWelcome back Jocelyn,
Sorry to see you back here under the circumstances. Can you review our Testing for conflicts guide so we can identify the exact source of conflict? It would also be helpful if you could include any screenshots and/or a short video highlighting the issues.
Please keep me updated with your progress and have a great rest of the day. Cheers!

ParticipantI have attached some screenshots. The first two are of what adding an event from the dashboard looks like. The last one (9.18.27) is what community members see, and appears to be working normally. I ran a test event while logged out and it went through fine on Chrome browser.
I have cleared my browser cache with no luck. We’ll try other conflict testing today if possible.

ParticipantIt looks like one didn’t attach.
Edit – never mind, they all attached.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
