ParticipantUpdating automatically should be possible if you have entered your license keys, but if that is not working then you will need to use the methods described in this guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/

ParticipantInteresting. I’m not sure why this is arising, but if it’s not causing any issues, that I would encourage you to contact your web host to see if this error message can be ignored in the logs so it doesn’t keep filling up the log files and potentially obscuring other “real” errors.
I mentioned this to a developer on our team and they confirmed that there are queries within Event Aggregator that are not very efficient that we are working on making more efficient, and so these queries could be causing these notices in your error logs, but unfortunately this is not something we’ll be able to fix in our plugins for at least another couple of plugin releases.
Please let me know what you think and if there are any other issues I can try to help with.
Sincerely,

ParticipantSure thing Alexander, I have just processed that refund and you should see this funds back in your account in no more than a few business days.
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Sincerely,

ParticipantThanks for the reply, Cindy.
The Events Calendar 4.0 is outdated at this point, and the current version is 4.4.1.
What I would encourage you to do is the following:
1. Update your site’s version of WordPress itself to version 4.7.2 if it is not already.
2. Update your site’s version of The Events Calendar to its current version, which is currently 4.4.1.
3. Update your site’s version of Events Calendar Pro its current version, which is currently also 4.4.1.
↑ If issues persist after doing these steps, please share a link to specific events and URLs on your site where the issues are visible. I will take a look at those and help from there.

January 30, 2017 at 10:09 am in reply to: Event Order and Attendees numbers not matching. Big issue #1226264George
ParticipantHey Jo,
I apologize for my delayed response, but have not made much headway here.
There is another bug that has emerged with Event Tickets Plus related to orders being marked “Complete” successfully, and I’m wondering if this is related here.
To test this, I’m curious: If you create an event with different types of free test tickets on your site, and then “buy” these tickets and manually mark their WooCommerce orders as “Complete” in the wp-admin, does this seem to work well in terms of having all of the order numbers consistent?
Next, can you also confirm what payment gateways you’re using with your ticket sales? Are you accepting payments via PayPal, for example?
Thanks so much for your patience,

ParticipantHey Lisa,
Thanks for elaborating a bit on your goals—pulling of what you describe is unfortunately a bit trickier to do and is not possible without some extensive custom coding. 🙁
The level of coding required is beyond the scope of customer support we can provide, per the notes on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
I will attempt to pull this off with a bit of custom code nonetheless, though—sit tight, it may take me some time to come up with something and I may fail outright to do so, but I will try!

ParticipantSure thing. Best of luck with your project!

ParticipantHey Damion,
Our plugin The Events Calendar is free and offers the ability for a fully-featured events calendar. You can check it out here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar
We also make a plugin called GigPress which may work well for adding comedian bios and such. You can find that here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/gigpress
Explore both plugins and, since they are free, I encourage you to download them and try using them on your site firsthand.
If you have further specific questions, please let me know! 😀

ParticipantSorry to hear this, Crystal!
I have gone ahead and refunded the licenses for both Community Events and Filter Bar. You should see those funds back in your account in no more than a few business days.
The Events Calendar Pro license is still active.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Don,
The core of your question is described here:
They should be able to change or delete any event that they create—but not one created by anyone else.
If you create user accounts on your site whose user role is set to “Author”, then these accounts can create their own events, but cannot edit anyone else’s. They can view the events of other authors in the admin, of course, but cannot edit any events other than ones they have created themselves.
They should be warned/denied if they try to create an event that double-books a room.
↑ This aspect of your goals is unfortunately not something our plugins can handle at this time. There is now way to do this with our plugins out-of-the-box. 🙁
Sorry to disappoint on that second part! I hope this helps though.
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey April,
Can you share what URL was previously?
Next, can you please post your site’s complete system information to this thread? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks,
George -
