ParticipantHey Corinne,
This is unfortunately a known bug that we are working hard on fixing!
I will update this thread when there is news of a fix. For now there is unfortunately nothing that can be done to fix this. 🙁
Sorry for the bad news here. Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime, and please stay tuned to this thread for updates about the bug and its fix!

ParticipantSorry to see this Jim!
I cannot recreate this issue and you’re using out-of-date software, so the first step here is to update your site’s software.
1. First update WordPress itself to its most recent version: 4.7.2 as of this moment.
2. Next, update The Events Calendar to version 4.4.1.
3. Then update Events Calendar Pro to version 4.4.1.
4. Once you do all of this, head to Settings → Permalinks in your site’s wp-admin. Once there, click “Save Changes” without actually changing anything. This may seem weird but refreshes permalinks on your site and so it might help here.
Once you do all four steps above, does anything improve with these issues?
Let us know! 😀

ParticipantHi William,
You can use the function tribe_get_start_date() to get the start date and time of an event in any date format you’d like.
Head to this file in your copy of The Events Calendar to read the function and see how to use it, and how to specify a time format:
the-events-calendar/common/src/functions/template-tags/date.phpWe cannot help with custom coding or similar questions but I do hope this helps you get started on displaying the event start date in a custom date/time format.
Cheers,

ParticipantSorry to hear about this, folks. I have confirmed this bug and logged a bug ticket for it.
While I cannot guarantee that it’ll be fixed in the very next update, it is indeed in our system now and should hopefully be fixed some time in the next couple of releases. This could take several weeks.
I’m sorry for the trouble! I will update this thread with news about the bug fix as it arrives.
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime.
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Ken,
If you have Events Calendar Pro you can use the Recurring Events feature to achieve this.
When creating an event, scroll down in the Date & Time section of the edit screen for the event. You should see a “schedule multiple events” button there and can use the configuration options there to create a second instance of the same event.
Please let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Ruud,
Thanks for reaching out.
Unfortunately this is not possible at this time by default. 🙁 It would only be possible by way of extensive code customizations far outside the scope of these support forums.
Sorry to disappoint! Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantHey Meleah,
Thanks for reaching out.
Editing the main “Events” page unfortunately requires some custom coding beyond the scope of support that we can provide here.
The gist of what you’d need to do is to use the methods described in our Themer’s Guide to modify this file within The Events Calendar’s plugin files:
the-events-calendar/src/views/default-template.phpPlease let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

ParticipantHey @H.,
Thanks for reaching out. There’s unfortunately no author feeds for events out-of-the-box. 🙁
You could only make such feeds exist by way of custom coding—there may also be a plugin on WordPress.org that would let you do this. I don’t know of a specific example, but you may be able to find a plugin by searching for “custom post type RSS feeds” on wordpress.org/plugins
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantHey Roshan,
Thanks for reaching out.
Our plugin Event Tickets does provide basic RSVP functionality, but it unfortunately does not support recurring events at this time.
With Event Tickets you can indeed set a stock limit, but again it doesn’t support recurring events so it may not work well for your needs.
Please let me know if there are any specific follow-up questions of yours that I can help address.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi April,
Thanks for reaching out.
Our system is unfortunately not pulling the system information despite you having shared it—sorry about this!
Can you please post the complete, unedited information manually to this thread? Check out the “Sharing the Information Manually” section of this page for steps on how to do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Jatila,
Thanks for reaching out.
There is one purchase in your account which was for a Business License of Events Calendar Pro on January 29, 2016.
Licenses last for one year. It is now January 30, 2017.
This license was not renewed and so it is now expired.
Please let me know if this information helps and if there are questions I can help with.
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Jatila,
Events Calendar Pro is the name of the plugin itself—there is no “Pro” service, per se.
You bought a Business License of the Events Calendar Pro product. This means you can use that product on three separate websites and get support for all three sites.
That license expired yesterday, however.
You have posted another thread about that expired license over here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/already-payed-for-pro/
I will close this thread and keep the conversation in the thread linked above to keep this organized.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHi Tim,
Unfortunately we cannot help with custom coding as described here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
Best,

ParticipantHi there,
Thank you for reaching out. These forums here are our “Pre-sales Questions” forums, so we unfortunately cannot field technical support questions here.
It doesn’t currently appear that you have a premium license with us. If this is wrong, and you do have a premium license with us, then apologies for my misunderstanding!
However, in that case please log into the account on this site that has your premium license, and then post this question in a premium support forum.
If you indeed do not have a premium license, then please post your question in our free support forums here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar
We check those forums a bit more than once per week, so hopefully we will be able to get to your question there.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for letting me know, David. It could indeed be a theme or plugin issue because I can’t recreate the behavior you describe.
You say this above:
I saved and exited and went to look at the recurrence by clicking the link to go through to view the Event. Only thing was I ended up on the October date, not the Feb date. So I went to the List All Instances view and yes there are 2 events. I click on the Feb on and am again redirected to the October event.
1. Can you please link to the URL of the first event?
2. Can you please link to the /all/ URL of event series?
Thanks! 😀
