ParticipantWhen I use the export button for the month of February on my site at
the resulting .ics file starts on March 8 2017 instead of February 1 2017. I have tried EVERYTHING for the last 2 days to fix this except look at and possibly alter the event-calendar…. .php file.
I really need help with this because I print out a calendar for my customers and I am now way behind schedule!!! I have included my latest attempt to export below.
Thoughts?

ParticipantHey Corinne,
This is unfortunately a known bug that we are working hard on fixing!
I will update this thread when there is news of a fix. For now there is unfortunately nothing that can be done to fix this. 🙁
Sorry for the bad news here. Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime, and please stay tuned to this thread for updates about the bug and its fix!

ParticipantGeorge:
Thank you for your response. I am not sure how Event Pro can justify a response that is basically “too bad” when we all pay good money with the expectation of fully functioning sw. I am not asking for a feature that is new –just that a feature that USE to work to continue working.
So while I understand your powerlessness, I find Modern Tribe’s casual attitude towards the devolution of it’s sw’s functionality completely unacceptable. It’s the kind of attitude which, right along with the “too bad” nature of your response (and I am being polite here), which gives the entire sw development community –to which I belong by the way– a bad name.
I find it too bad that my credit card worked just fine when Modern Tribe collected it’s money…

ParticipantI am genuinely sorry for the existence of these bugs, Corinne. I am sorry if things come across with a “too bad” attitude, because in my opinion we try to do the exact of that:
• We admit there is a bug.
• We set threads like this to “Pending Fix”
• We actively communicate when the fix is available.☝️ This is far from “casual”, in my opinion—we are working hard on a bug fix will alert you when it’s available! 😀
It would of course be ideal if the bug did not exist to begin with. Nobody can argue that. 😉 But in terms of fixing the bug and communicating when it’s available, we take both things seriously and are actively working on fixing the bug you reported here.
Please stay tuned to this thread for updates about that bug fix, and please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with in the meantime.
Sincerely,

ParticipantHello!
I wanted to post a quick note here that we have published a new Maintenance Release today that should address some of the problems reported in this thread with the plugins’ Month View ics exports.
You can read about the details of this release here → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-events-calendar-4-4-3-event-tickets-4-4-3-premium-add-ons/
I hope this update helps!
Cheers,

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
