ParticipantI am very sorry about this @Jen. I cannot recreate issues with the auto-updating methods, and so while GoDaddy says the issue is not on their end, there could perhaps be some sort of hosting, server, or connectivity issue happening here that prevents the auto-update from running.
I am sorry for the trouble, but would recommend the following steps to get up-to-date with everything:
1. Head to your downloads page to see what the most current versions of your plugins are: theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
2. Use the Manual Update method to get everything up-to-date with the highest version numbers you see on the downloads page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/manual-updates/
Please let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantHey Tyler,
You have some IPN issues which are issues related to how PayPal connects to your site. These issues are unfortunately not something related to our plugins.
I would recommend the following things:
1. Update all of our plugins to their latest versions. You can see the latest versions to update to at theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads
2. Contact the WooCommerce support team about why orders are marked “complete” without payments that are finishing correctly. They may be able to help shed light on the IPN issues.
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

ParticipantHey @mmccoycchs,
Thanks for reaching out.
There is a known bug affecting the “All” view of recurring events, but there should not be any issues with the general List View or Month View.
1. Are your issues only with the “All” view of recurring events? Or does your general month view itself (e.g. at the main /events/ page) show things out of order?
I cannot recreate any issues with the List View or Month View generally, so if that is your issue, then to help me investigate this:
2. Can you try doing the complete set of troubleshooting steps on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ After EACH STEP in that process, check back on those pages where the event order is incorrect. Refresh the page—does the order start to show up correctly anywhere along the way in the process of this testing?
Let us know what you find!
Thanks,

ParticipantI’m sorry to hear this, Bruce!
1. I cannot recreate this behavior—can you share links to specific event pages on your site where the maps fail to show up? I will check those out and see if I can spot any errors in the JavaScript console, etc.
2. Next, can you try doing the complete set of troubleshooting steps on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ After EACH STEP in that process, check back on those pages where the maps fail to show up — do they start to show up anywhere along the way in the process of this testing?

ParticipantHi Uwe! 😀
This is a great idea, but is not something planned at this time. I would encourage you to post your idea to our UserVoice page here → tribe.uservoice.com
↑ Customers can vote ideas up or down on this page, so we pay close attention to it and often consider it when making product decisions like the one you suggest here.
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Alain,
Thanks for reaching out. This is unfortunately not possible with any out-of-the-box means of our plugins, and so would unfortunately require many code customizations to implement. 🙁
So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code yourself or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
Sorry to disappoint! Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantSorry to hear this, @Jessica!
1. Can you share with us how many events are on your site, roughly? Nothing super-accurate necessary, just an estimate: Do you have thousands of events per month, for example? Or just a few dozen, perhaps? If you can clarify this and also share a link to your events page, that will be helpful.
2. Next, please share your site’s complete, un-edited system information using the “Sharing information manually” steps outlined in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
This data will help me take a closer look and will hopefully help me provide some recommendations for you to improve performance.

ParticipantThanks for reaching out, Alan!
It’s hard to generalize about how “most people” do this with our plugins — one of the great things about our plugins, and WordPress plugins in general, is that they are self-hosted, and so there’s no external data tracking which is a boon for folks who want privacy. 🙂 That does mean, however, that we simply don’t have a lot of concrete data about how folks use our plugins in the ways you describe here.
Certainly having one body of events to manage is easier than having two bodies of events to manage, and so this may be the main appeal of option #2 that you list there: using The Events Calendar for everything.
But option #1 is totally viable, too, though. And there are indeed ways to set up Event Aggregator’s Update Authority settings so that event properties can be maintained even in the face of the source event being rescheduled; it’s more accurate to say that a new event will be imported altogether, which does unfortunately mean that there could be duplicate events, but will ensure that no data is lost. You can read more about these import settings and how to best manage imported events by checking out these two articles:
• https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/
• https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-imported-events/I hope this information helps you in your decision-making here—please let me know if it does, and if there’s anything else I can try to help with!

ParticipantHey Vanina!
Thanks for reaching out.
Doing this requires writing custom CSS, which we are not able to help with.
Please read this page for more information on that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
While it’s true that we cannot help with customizations or design tweaks, I would love to at least provide a quick example to help you get started here 😀
/* Make the export links orange. */
div.tribe-events-cal-links a.tribe-events-button {
background: #cc9900 !important;
}/* Make the export links red when hovered. */
div.tribe-events-cal-links a.tribe-events-button:hover,
div.tribe-events-cal-links a.tribe-events-button:focus {
background: red !important;
}
Best of luck with your customizations!

ParticipantHey Manuel,
Thanks for reaching out.
Recurring events do not currently support tickets at this time.
Tickets can only be associated with single event instances.
And so you cannot buy tickets for a “series” or “group” of events; if you add tickets to an event, those tickets will only be associated with that single event, not the whole series or other events or anything like that unfortunately.
Does this information help? Let me know!

ParticipantHey Darren,
Really sorry for the trouble here.
We recommend that clients own their own licenses explicitly for this reason, as described here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/client-or-dev/
We unfortunately can only provide premium support to folks with active licenses who are logged into those licensed accounts on this site.
So I would recommend having your developer/marketer share their credentials on this site with you so that you can log in with their account information and post in our premium forums for support.
If they are not a party to that, then I would recommend having them request a refund for the license from us. We will refund their license, and then they can reimburse you the cost of a license, then you can buy your own license and proceed from there.
I am genuinely sorry for the trouble this creates.
If you have further questions about this, please do not post in the forums, as issues related to licensing and accounts can invoke the need to discuss personal account information and license keys. So please email us at support at theeventscalendar.com instead (you can include a link back to this thread for reference/context if you’d like).
Thank you!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantSorry for not addressing that, Massimo! I must have forgotten.
When it comes to your issues with the Customizer, I am not able to reproduce your exact issues; there is a recent and known bug though, however, where there is often a Fatal Error with the Customizer and our plugins. That seems to be the culprit here, and so the best thing I can think of would be to wait for us to publish a fix for the fatal error (the fix should hopefully arrive this week or next), and then once that is fixed, we can see if your issues persist.
I am genuinely sorry for the trouble with the Customizer 🙁
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with!

ParticipantHey Daniel,
I unfortunately do not have any such insights at this time, nor can we provide any assistance with extra features and customizations as elaborated upon here.
I am genuinely sorry about that, because this would be a fun thing to build! 😀 And I could probably do it if I had a spare few hours.
In any case, what might be helpful is to just go digging within the Event Tickets plugin code itself. There are a number of class methods there like get_attendees_array with which you could ostensibly use to get all of the attendees of a given event and then could loop through that and extract email addresses.
With that array of email addresses, then, you could wp_mail() a bunch of them at a time. You’ll definitely want to build some sort of “batch processing” into this functionality, though, so it doesn’t overload your server!
I am sorry that there’s not much we can help with here, but do hope the information I’ve provided is helpful. While I will not be able to provide further assistance in realizing the customizations described here, if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with, please let me know!
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantGlad to hear it, @Pauline!
