ParticipantI’m sorry for the trouble, @Colt. 🙁
I don’t have a temporary fix, but I would recommend upgrading to Event Tickets & Event Tickets Plus, which replace WooCommerce Tickets. (You have a premium license for Event Tickets Plus in your account already, for free, as a WooCommerce Tickets license-holder.)
We are still supporting WooCommerce Tickets until its last-purchased license is no longer valid, so i.e. at least another several months, but after that point it will be no longer supported or getting any updates.
You can learn more about transitioning to the new, improved Ticketing plugin replacements here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/
Thank you for your patience!

ParticipantHey @Becky,
Thank you for your patience here. I unfortunately am still not able to reproduce your original issues. 🙁
I am reaching out to some developers on our team for further insight on this, and will update this thread with any information based on what I learn.
Sincerely,

ParticipantHey Ben,
And then I deactivated it and tested again.
☝️ What did you find when you did this test?
Please be sure that you activate the default theme, then test the settings again. If this does not help, then LEAVE the theme active, the default theme, and then also deactivate all plugins except for these ones:
• The Events Calendar
• Events Calendar ProPlease note that no uninstalling/installing is mentioned or recommended here. I’m only talking about deactivating plugins, and activating a theme.
Sorry for the drawn-out process here; I just want to make certain these tests are performed accurately, because I cannot reproduce your problem. 🙁
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you for digging into this and for sharing your solution, @eclair!
We are indeed keen on offering fallbacks for when server API limits are exceeded, so hopefully something like what you suggest here will be inherent in our plugins before long….
Best of luck with your project!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantNo worries! 😀

ParticipantHi Craig,
I notice that this system information reports your version of WordPress as version 4.3.4. This could be a factor in some of the issues you are facing.
I would recommend first updating to the most recent version, which is currently 4.5.2.
After updating, if issues persist:
1. Your events slug is /events. Do you happen to have a page on your site that is titled “Events”, and thus might also be trying to use that /events slug in the URL? If so, this could be causing problems, so I would recommend deleting the page.
2. Next, if 404 issues persist, I would recommend performing all of the steps described in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/
Let us know what you find,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThank you for sharing all of this information!
The problem seems to be arising from the [upcoming_events_full] shortcode that is provided by the theme. I would recommend contacting the theme author for assistance with why the first event it generates does not function properly (the “read more” link, anyways).
Cheers!

ParticipantHey John,
I checked out your site and the outdated version of jQuery is still being loaded.
If things work fine in the default theme, then your custom theme is the source of this problem. The only thing I can recommend from here, unfortunately, is to make sure that neither your theme nor any of your plugins are loading their own versions of jQuery and dequeueing the built-in version.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHi Daniel,
Thanks for chiming in here. To help us best provide support for your issue, without detracting from assisting Becky in this, her thread, can you please open a new thread on these forums that describes your problems in completion?
Please post your “System Information” if possible (https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/) and share screenshots. (You can do so by uploading the screenshots to this thread. If you have issues with that, you can upload to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.)
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you for posting these errors, @Colt. I find the same ones and we are working on a fix here.
If your server errors are different from the ones above, please do post those!
Thank you,

ParticipantThank you for sharing this!
1. First, I noticed your site’s version of WordPress is a bit behind. It’s 4.4.2. The current version is 4.5.2, so first I would recommend updating to this version of WordPress.
2. Once you update your version of WordPress, update your versions of The Events Calendar and its addons. Currently, these are the versions you’re running:
The Events Calendar PRO version 4.0.7
The Events Calendar: Community Events version 4.0.5
The Events Calendar: iCal Importer version 4.0.4
The Events Calendar version 4.0.7
☝️ Each of these plugins is currently at version 4.2; iCal importer at 4.2.0.1. Update all of the software to 4.2 (starting with The Events Calendar, then the premium add-ons).
Let us know if these steps make any difference with the functioning of the export button. We can take further steps from there if they do not.
Thank you!

ParticipantThank you for posting this, @Kurt!
I would that recommend that fix shared by Brian to anyone who still has these error messages; they don’t solve the problem, per se, but will at least hide the error messages while our developers work on a fix.
Sorry for the trouble here!
