first event problem

Hi,
I have a problem with the list of upcoming events of the home page of my site.
The first event is always without location and the link ‘read more’ (“En savoir plus”) doesn’t work.
Could you help me to solve this problem.

I’m sorry to hear about this, @Chrisophe!

That is an odd issue—to help us investigate, can you post your site’s “System Information”? Here’s how to do that ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

This problem may, unfortunately, be one with your theme. 🙁 I only mention this because I cannot recreate the issue in any of my own site’s front-end views, and it seems like your theme is providing many custom events layouts and such. So its code may be the culprit here.

1. For now, share your “System Information” as mentioned above.

2. Can you clarify how this row of three events is made? Are you using a shortcode to do it, for example? A theme option? Any detail here is much appreciated. Share screenshots of the way you are configuring this, too, if possible. (You can do so by uploading the screenshots to this thread. If you have issues with that, you can upload to Imgur.com, Flickr.com, CloudUp.com, or any similar image-hosting site; then just share the links to those images here and I’ll take a look.)

Thank you for your reply.

This row of three events is present on the Home page when you buy the theme. The free version of Event calendar is given with the theme. I’ve bought the Pro version of Event calendar after.

It is made with a line of code that can be changed, costumized. It was all in English. I have made the translation into French.

When you click on “Triduum”, it works. It is when you click on the next link (“En savoir plus” : “Read more” in English) thant it doesn’t work (see file code 2). And the adress doesn’t appear (see file code 3).

Thank you for sharing all of this information!

The problem seems to be arising from the [upcoming_events_full] shortcode that is provided by the theme. I would recommend contacting the theme author for assistance with why the first event it generates does not function properly (the “read more” link, anyways).
