June 9, 2016 at 9:31 am #1124554GeorgeParticipantI’m really sorry to hear about this! I don’t have these errors on my own site, so to help investigate a bit, would you mind posting your site’s “System Information”? Here’s how to do that ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
I’ll take a look at that information and will reach out to our developers for some insight as to why this might be happening in the meantime.
Thank you!

June 9, 2016 at 5:59 pm #1124839KevinParticipantWe are getting the exact same thing. Tons of these entries in our error log:
[Thu Jun 09 22:03:46.418184 2016] [:error] [pid 28950] [client 185.53.44.67:60122] PHP Warning: key() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /nas/content/live/mysite/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/JSON_LD/Venue.php on line 46

They only appear when on main events listing page when in “month” view.
June 10, 2016 at 9:35 am #1125211GeorgeParticipantI’m really sorry about this, folks!
I admit to being a stumped, because I have tried reproducing these error notices to no avail thus far.
That being said, I’ve gone ahead and made a bug ticket for our developers to explore this and take a closer look at the issues.
Please stay tuned to this thread—I will mark it “Pending Fix” for now and will post any updates on these issues as I learn them.
Thank you for your patience!

June 10, 2016 at 10:50 am #1125281KurtParticipantJust noticed, the error messages only show up on the main calendar page, not on the event detail pages.
June 10, 2016 at 11:09 am #1125284MichelleParticipantNot sure if this might help, as I don’t know if this happened after I did a bulk update on events on not. But I did a bulk update to over 50 events to update the category of them. After I did that, I noticed the calendar running awfully slow and I checked the error_log and that is when I found all of the notices. For me on both of the functions that where producing the errors, I simply edited the functions and just return true; at the very top of the function and the errors go away, I don’t see any different issues on the front-end other than it running very slow.
Figured any info I could give you would be helpful.
June 10, 2016 at 1:36 pm #1125365GeorgeParticipantThank you all for reporting this! We’re working on this urgently given the number of you who’ve come forward with this issue. Stay tuned to this thread for updates!

Do we have any updates on this at all?June 14, 2016 at 8:04 am #1126699KurtParticipantThis was just posted to the thread on this problem on wordpress.org. I downgraded to version 4.1.4 and will wait for the next release.

Sorry for the issues you are having and for the late reply here.
The messages are warnings and do not break the plugin, but there are an annoyance and can be removed.
It is recommended that all live sites not show PHP Errors, Warnings, and Notices.
You can do that with your PHP.ini or in WordPress.
To do that in your wpconfig.php file replace this:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
with this:
ini_set(‘log_errors’,’On’);
ini_set(‘display_errors’,’Off’);
ini_set(‘error_reporting’, E_ALL );
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
That coding comes from this article:
https://aristath.github.io/blog/wp-hide-php-errors
That should hide the warnings for now and there will be a fix in 4.2.1, which we are working on.
You can also downgrade to 4.1.4 if you like.
You can download older versions of the core plugin here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/
And follow these steps for a manual change:

ThanksJune 15, 2016 at 8:26 am #1127308GeorgeParticipantThank you for posting this, @Kurt!
I would that recommend that fix shared by Brian to anyone who still has these error messages; they don’t solve the problem, per se, but will at least hide the error messages while our developers work on a fix.
Sorry for the trouble here!
