MemberGood evening Sarah,
Thank you for sharing your system information!
After a quick glance, there are a few things I am noticing:
- Some of your plugins are listed twice (W3 Total Cache and MOJO Marketplace) which is a bit odd. You might want to verify that, just in case.
- You are using the Polylang plugin. The bad news is that plugin only works partially with our plugins and as such is not supported. We do support multilingual websites, but using WPML. And just to set expectations, only for the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro for now. We are working on adding full Events Tickets and Events Tickets Plus at a later time this year (so stay tuned!).
So in short, it is very likely that either Polylang or another plugin is causing a conflict.
To make sure that is the case, I would recommend going through our Testing for conflicts procedure and see if that enables you to purchase tickets.
Please let me know what you find out.
Have a great night!

MemberHello again Jacob,
is it possible to offer a predefined venue in the “Community Events” Plugin?
I am not sure of what your definition of predefined is. Could you elaborate on what you are trying to accomplish ?
If however you are simply looking for a Default venue for Community Events, then the answer is yes, it is possible to define one.
To do that you need to go to Events -> Settings -> Community and then navigate all the way down to Form Defaults.
And it would be helpful to shift the ” Add new place” to the bottom of the list.
You can do exactly that by using a template override. You can read all about it in our Themer’s guide.
More specifically, look for the Community Events section on that page.
My colleague Brian also has an interesting post on a similar topic.
Let me know if that helps ?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We will gladly assist you in troubleshooting this issue.First and foremost, I believe you should read my colleague Brian’s great post on this very topic.
As you can see it is very likely that the deleted items are still present in your database. If that still does not work, can you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?

MemberGood afternoon Gino,
I am sorry to hear my recommendations were not helpful to you.
As stated previously, based on our terms and conditions, unfortunately there is only so much we can do as far as supporting customizations.
That being said, I truly hope that you can accomplish what you are looking for.
1. There used to be tooltips in the mini-cal in version 3, I believe. Why were they removed in the first place? Can I download somewhere archived version of the old plugin?
The tooltip was removed as part of a redesign effort of the plugin (branching off) to the multiple premium plugins we know today. You can also find out why the feature request to bring it back was denied by looking here.
With that in mind, you are always welcome to add your own voice to the User voice forum.
You can access old versions of the plugin here.
You might also want to have a look at our functions documentation.
2. There have been a lot of requests for this from other Tribe customers, and everyone gets pretty much the same answer… Tribe doesn’t support customization, figure it out yourself. I’m willing to do this because I have a client that needs this functionality. I’m not all that solid in PHP, but I will take the time to figure it out. But why would you make your paying customers have to go through the trial and error of this process when you all are familiar with the code and could probably knock something like this out in an hour?
That is a valid question and I understand why you might feel this way.
The truth is that we get a ton of customization requests every day for different client needs.
Responding to all of these requests would require a considerable increase in our employee roster thus driving the costs of our plugins way up.As a side note, I am not sure if the code to do what you are looking for would truly require only 1 hour of work (factoring in everything including testing).
So in short, we do not care about our customers greatly.
In fact, this is why we try to make our plugins customizable in the way they are built.
This is also why we believe keeping the pricing of the plugins affordable is paramount to customer satisfaction.Perhaps in your specific case you might consider hiring a full fledged programmer to do exactly that customization ?
Thank you for your understanding.
Is there any other questions on that topic I can answer for you ?
Have a great evening,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon,
I know how you feel. You”re right, it probably does not qualify as fun.
The good news however is that this should end the troubleshooting for good.
So once again hang in there and let me know if you have questions about the tests.
Looking forward to hearing about your results.
Have a good one,

MemberGood morning Barton,
Thank you for following up with us and kudos on finding a temporary fix.
I am sorry I did not reply sooner. This one fell under the radar provided it’s status of “Pending fix”.
Please know that we will gladly let you know as soon as the fix is released.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Gino and welcome to the Events Calendar forums!
Thank you so much for your dedication and desire to add a tooltip to the Mini Calendar.
That being said, as you can imagine (and as you pointed out), we do provide limited support to customizations.
We do however try to get our wonderful clients started on the right foot, but this is usually as far as we can go based on our terms and conditions. That being said, to answer your question:
can someone verify that I have my child directories set up properly in order to get to the next step?
The answer to that is yes for the most part.
The precise list of the supported template customizations (along side the paths of the child theme to use) are visible under the Widgets and Month sections of the Themer’s guide
In some cases, you added files that are not “supported” (will not work) using our template customization system. Should you need something from these files, you will have to write some custom functions in your child Theme’s functions.php and use the appropriate hooks, filters and actions.
For instance, you’ll see that list.php is not in the supported list under pro/widgets/mini-calendar/ in the Themer’s guide
However, pro/widgets/list-widget.php is a supported override.
Same goes for mobile.php and tooltip.php under tribe-events/month
I am not saying you can’t get these to work at all, just that they will not work “automatically”.
Hope this helps get you started and good luck with your project!
Let me know if you need any clarification on those pointers ?
Have a great night,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Mia and welcome to our forums,
Yes we still offer the program for qualifying organizations.
Following your inquiry, I went ahead and did some research for an application from your organization.
Unfortunately, the application is nowhere to be found. I am not sure why, but please accept our apologies for that.
Could you please submit an application again using the instructions found here ?
Have a great evening,

MemberGood evening Dave and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your system information.
We are sorry to hear that you have not yet been able to add tickets to your Event pages.
Of course we would like to help you achieve just that.In order to troubleshoot what the cause is, I will need to ask you a couple of questions:
- Out of curiosity, have you tried our user guide on that very topic ?
- You mentioned the ticket is not showing up on the event page. Can you specify that you are talking about the single event details page ? Does the ticket show up in the Edit Events page ?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Have a great night,

MemberGood evening Sarah and welcome to the Events Calendar support forums!
I purchased the woocommerce tickets plugin when I wanted to start selling tickets on my website and everything was working great.
We are glad you are enjoying our products and we’ll happy to make sure it stays that way 🙂
However, when I create an event and add a ticket to it, I only have the options to RSVP – nothing to add a price and sell the tickets online.
From the screenshot you provided, it looks like WooCommerce is not active on the website im question OR that somehow only the Events Tickets free plugin is active (and not Events Tickets Plus or WooCommerce Tickets).
But since I don’t know for sure, could you please provide us with the system information of that website in a private reply?
Have a great night,

MemberGood evening Matthew and welcome to our forums!
Thank you for reaching out to us and providing us with your system information.
We are sorry to hear that you can no longer add events.
We will be happy to help you sort out the issue. In order to troubleshoot properly, I need to ask you some questions and suggest a couple of things to try.
- Can you confirm if this started recently (after the last update for example) or if it has been the case from the get go ?
- Could you please follow our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know if that resolves the issue ?
We are looking forward to hearing back from you.
Have a great night,

MemberGood evening Carl and welcome to the Events Calendar support forums!
Thank you for reaching out to us and we would love to help you resolve this issue.
When I use the events list widget it doesn’t look any different from the non pro version
I am not sure I understand what you mean by look any different (perhaps the screenshot will help). Technically, the widgets “look” the same, the main difference is that using Pro adds more options to the widgets.
See the attached screen shot
Unfortunately, it looks like the screenshot did not make it (I can’t see it). Could you please provide it again, perhaps using something like Dropbox or Cloudup ?
In closing, could you also please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
We are looking forward to hearing back from you.

MemberGood evening Alana and welcome to the Events Calendar forums!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
I am interested in the Pro for recurring Events. Are you able to send a screenshot of the backend n how you set them up?
I believe you will find exactly what you are looking for in our knowledge base as far screen shots.
Basically I want to know if I can select multiple dates…that don’t really have a pattern just want to be able to select say 5 dates randomly of the year for one event? Is that possible?
Yes, it is possible. Our custom recurring events rules are really powerful and well… customizable. I am pretty sure you should be able to achieve what you are looking for.
Is there anything else I can answer for you today ?
Have a great night!

MemberGood evening Aleix,
Thank you for providing your system information and congratulations on resolving the timezone error messages!
First of all, I would like to recommend upgrading to our latest version of the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro, as we released a security update this weekend.
And here you can see how in the admin panel it says that there are 28 events published but in CA (catalan) there is only 1 event and in EN there is non. I created the event in catalan so all the events should be there, but anyway, one place or another, I should see 28 published events!
That is correct, you should see the different events.
I see that you are using WPML and I trust that you have already followed the following instructions:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
After some testing, I was able to replicate the issue you are describing.
Some additional research also revealed that there is currently a bug ticket opened to solve exactly the issue you are describing. So unfortunately, short term WPML and recurring events are not working properly together. We are sorry about that.
For the time being the only solution available is non-recurring events. The good news is that our Dev team is working on a solution. Although we cannot commit to a release date at this point, you should know that we aim at releasing updates of our plugins every month.
We appreciate your patience and we will absolutely keep you informed as soon as a fix is available.
Is there any other question I can answer for you today?
Best regards,
Geoff B.
