    Hi,
Every time I make changes to a recurrent event, I get this error:

Notice: date_default_timezone_set() [function.date-default-timezone-set]: Timezone ID ‘UTC+1’ is invalid in /home2/nunart/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Exclusions.php on line 56

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home2/nunart/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Exclusions.php:56) in /home2/nunart/public_html/wp-admin/post.php on line 197

And I think this is causing a lot of issues because the recurrence of the events is not set properly.
Could you help me with this please?
    Thanks a lot!

Good afternoon Aleix and welcome back to our support forums!

We are sorry to hear about these error messages.
Hopefully we can help you troubleshoot (and fix) what is causing the issue.

To begin, can you please go to WP-Admin > Settings > General > Timezone, once in there please Save Changes and try again.

At this point, I cannot confirm if the recurrence events are set properly.
Could you please provide a screenshot of one of the recurring events settings ?

Also, can you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.

    Hi again.
I saw that the timezone of my wordpress site was not set properly. I set it right and now I don’t get the error but still are some issues with recurrent events.
When I create a recurrent event, the events are not visible in my calendar neither in my admin panel. I attach 2 screenshots so that you can see the problem:

Here you can see how I set up the recurrent event:
    Image 1

And here you can see how in the admin panel it says that there are 28 events published but in CA (catalan) there is only 1 event and in EN there is non. I created the event in catalan so all the evetns should be there, but anyway, one place or another, I should see 28 published events!

    Thaaaanks!

    Good evening Aleix,

Thank you for providing your system information and congratulations on resolving the timezone error messages!

First of all, I would like to recommend upgrading to our latest version of the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro, as we released a security update this weekend.

And here you can see how in the admin panel it says that there are 28 events published but in CA (catalan) there is only 1 event and in EN there is non. I created the event in catalan so all the events should be there, but anyway, one place or another, I should see 28 published events!

That is correct, you should see the different events.

I see that you are using WPML and I trust that you have already followed the following instructions:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/

After some testing, I was able to replicate the issue you are describing.
Some additional research also revealed that there is currently a bug ticket opened to solve exactly the issue you are describing.

So unfortunately, short term WPML and recurring events are not working properly together. We are sorry about that.
For the time being the only solution available is non-recurring events.

The good news is that our Dev team is working on a solution. Although we cannot commit to a release date at this point, you should know that we aim at releasing updates of our plugins every month.

We appreciate your patience and we will absolutely keep you informed as soon as a fix is available.

Is there any other question I can answer for you today?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Uou! These are bad news… my client has events that run every day every week, so non recurrent events is not a possibility; this is why he bought the pro version.
Well, it would be very nice if you let me know when this bug is solved.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello Aleix,

    Sorry for the delay answering.
This sometimes happens when a thread’s status is “Pending fix”.

To answer your question, unfortunately no, that fix wasn’t part of the last maintenance release.
But, the good news is that I have been asked just this week to be a part of the team that works on the solution.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

Thank you once again for your understanding!

    Geoff B.
