    Good evening,

I am mostly glad you have been able to come up with a temporary workaround that enables you to continue using the plugins.

On my end however, I have still not been able to reproduce the issue with a similar setup to yours.
At this point, I will ask a second pair of eyes on our awesome support team to see if I missed something obvious.

Hang tight as we continue to investigate this.
Thank you for your patience, I will get back to you with my findings.

Good evening Arthur and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I believe the only issue is the fact that the selected color (f8f8f8) is too pale and passes as white on your screen.

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox instead:

    .single single-tribe_events table.tribe-events-tickets td {
    background-color: #e5e5e5!important;
    }

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Keri and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the RSVP button not working properly on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

The first thing to do, after a backup, would be to consider downgrading to the latest working version of our plugins on your website.

I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1. A conflict with another plugin
    2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
    3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1. Make a backup of your database
    2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening Andrei,

    Thank you for the screenshot.

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .datepicker-dropdown {z-index: 999 !important}

    If that does not work.

Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about this glitch impacting your installation.
I would love to help you with this topic.

When something like this happens, after a backup, we typically recommend downgrading our plugings to the latest version you had them at prior to the issue happening.

I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

For some reason I am not seeing Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus as plugins available on your install through the system information provided.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Hang in there!

The other possibility is that there is a conflict with another plugin or a need to tweak some caching plugin settings.

    Hang in there!

    Good evening Andrei,

    Thank you for writing back.

To answer your question, yes that will work with Community Events.

As a side note, if coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Helma and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    – delete the Free notification

Absolutely. You can do that in a couple of ways:

    1. By customizing the view you want to delete it from. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    2. You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/b440feef873af841d023c0bf0839e93f

But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.

    3. Hide it using CSS

    – leave out mentioning how many tickets you want (as it is always 1 with us)

You could apply the following snippets in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top):

    1. https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/5b57df71be8b52f595817ddbf81acdab
    2. https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/075787fd6b427e1c47be0d756ca5b26c
    3. https://gist.github.com/elimn/ed648363bbac1061e37bdbf7ecb720b3

Again, to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.

    – change the text above the form you have to use to enroll

You could adapt and use the snippet found at the bottom of https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

OR use a template customization and change the strings to your liking.

    – have the name and e-mailaddress fill in automatically?

The following template override should achieve this: https://gist.github.com/niconerd/b31d7d436a35e15a1f0c151f9a0bc7bb

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.
