MemberGood evening Ismail,
Here’s the promised snippet to fix your current issue.

Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Dale,
Thank you for the login information. Unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.
What I actually meant is to provide us your system information using the instructions found in the following link: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
As an alternative, could you try the update CSS rule that should hide the other comment block:

MemberGood evening Alexander,
Thank you for performing additional tests.
I am sorry these were not more successful for you.So as promised, I tried to run some tests in the Latvian language, but, much to my surprise, I could not find any po/mo files for it 🙁
Could you either share with me your own versions of these files or let me know where you found them ?I am noticing that your theme is using heavy template customization for the events calendar. Can you tell me if there is a tribe-events folder in your WordPress theme’s folder ?
Finally, if you don’t mind, at this point what would be awesome is to get a DB dump of your website (through Dropbox or Google Drive in a private reply).
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Baidaa,
Thank you for all the additional information.
Here are some answers to your questions.I really want the image to be on the left side and purchase box to be right next to it with the social media share buttons and the rest of the details below. I don’t know if that is possible.
You should be able to do what you are looking for, but that will require some template customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get you started.
Alternatively, you could try changing the CSS rules to obtain what you are looking for, but that would probably be longer than just making your own custom single events template.
In the meantime, to get you started, you can reduce the image size by using the following CSS rule and adding it to your WordPress theme:
https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/88f728c6b6e0742aa29a
Also, on the event calendar page I really want the price box to be clickable so people can click and buy the tickets right from the calendar page, so they don’t always have to view a single page, is it possible to do that?
Yes, this is also totally feasible using template customization (in this case you would customize the list view and not the single event view).
Now I know I listed too many issue, but I have been trying to get it work but couldn’t, I’m not an expert with websites, I only know basics so don’t know any coding.
I understand this might be a bit scary at first (especially if you feel you are not an expert), but if you follow the instructions step-by-step, along with some basic PHP / CSS knowledge you should be fine.
Although we do encourage customization, the scope of our support for it is limited to getting you started on the right track and providing you with documentation for it 🙂
I am using the Flatsome theme which with the woocommerce plugin, if you think I should use a different theme that is going to be easier to set up, please let me know I would really appreciate any suggestions or ideas.
That part is really a matter of personal visual preference. With most themes, we can manage to make things work properly. But, even at that, if you are looking for a very specific layout (as seems to be the case), your best option is theme customization.
That being said, it looks like your chosen theme is actually preventing the WooCommerce + and – buttons to display correctly. So changing themes would help with that.
In the meantime, if you want to display these buttons, you could do so via CSS

Let me know if that helps.

MemberGood evening Antoine,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear you are experiencing a similar issue. We are absolutely looking forward to helping you, but in order to do that and give you the proper advice, could you please open a separate thread using the following link: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/post/
As you might suspect, even when issues are similar, the actual cause can be quite different.
Thank you for your understanding.

MemberGood evening Brendan,
I am sorry I misunderstood what you were asking for, my bad.
As you probably know, the scope of our support when it comes down to customization is unfortunately limited to getting you started 🙂
So, with that in mind, here are a couple of links that should totally get you closer to what you are trying to achieve:
- http://php.net/manual/en/function.explode.php
Pretty nice links! Kudos on that!
Let me know how if that helps.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Juan,
Thank you for running all these tests, it absolutely helps getting closer to the resolution.
Kudos on getting the photo view to work!Out of curiosity, I did import one of your events to my own calendar to see if I could reproduce the issue.
Unfortunately, I was unable to do so.So that leads me to a couple of extra questions / recommendations:
- Could you, very briefly, use a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen to see if you WordPress is not conflicting with the plugin on that very specific aspect ?
- Upon my research, I stumbled upon the following thread. I recommend reading it, since it is very similar to the issue you have been experiencing. To make a long story short, it is not impossible that your webhost is blocking the geolocalisation altogether (it’s certainly worth asking them what their policy on that topic is)
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Phil,

February 23, 2016 at 12:18 am in reply to: Sorry, Still Creating Duplicates, now only pulling 2 events #1080517Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Daniel and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the duplicate event imports.
I would love to help you with this topic. To answer your question, the likelihood of repairing this is very good. But, to set expectations, it might require a bit of back and forth to make sure we leave no stone unturned.
I am able to say this because using the iCal link you provided, I was able to import 25 events (starting as of February 1st 2016), with no duplicates whatsoever 🙂What is going on is that there is actually a built-in function that prevents you from reimporting the events twice, even after they are “deleted”.
In reality, they are still present in the Database when you delete them from the backend. This leaves us with 2 options:
- If you feel confortable with that (and only after you have made a backup), you could delete the events directly in the Database (the simplest and fastest option)
- If you do not feel confortable with this, let me know and I’ll prepare instructions for a different approach.
Let me know what you prefer,
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Steven and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the fact that you are not able to achieve what you are looking for with the the recurring events.
I would love to help you with this topic. To be able to offer you proper support however, we would need you to log into your Events Calendar account and use the following link to open up a support thread.
The reason for this is because support features and functionalities are limited in the Translation forum you have used for this thread.Thank you for your understanding.
For now I will close this thread and we are looking forward to seeing you in the premium plugins forum. That being said, when you do open the other thread, could you please also, as a first troubleshooting step, provide us with your system information ?
Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issue you have been experiencing with comments displaying.
I would love to help you with this topic.First of all, as one of our pro customers, please know that you are entitled to support in order to try to find a better solution (that would not be displaying the comment block twice) if you want to.
Should you prefer that, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
If, on the other hand, you find this solution acceptable but prefer simply hiding the second set of comments, I would add the following CSS to your WordPress theme.

Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the Facebook add-on issues you have been experiencing.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
While you are at it, if you could share the URL of your website and of the Facebook page, that could be very helpful. Finally, what would be great is to get a screenshot of your Facebook import settings as found under Events -> Settings -> Import
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Laughmasters,
Thank you for your reply.
1. System Info remains unchanged from our previous submission.
I’m a bit puzzled about this, as there was no system information submitted in the previous thread (or the one before).
Could you please provide the complete system information ? This is is actually paramount to resolving the issue you are experiencing as well as conducting tests on our end.2. Yes, tested.
So you are confirming that the issue you are describing is still present even with a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen ?
The reason I am asking is because based on the a similar thread from Kurt, it looks like the issue might be caused by an older template used in your theme customization:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/latest-update-still-has-problems-with-dates-in-details-block/Thank you for submitting your timezone information. All is well on this end.
Have a great day!
