MemberGood evening Angus,
Thank you for taking the time to clarify what you are looking to do.
Based on what you are trying do to, it would be best to use a third-party plugin that would let you do exactly that:

Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Jesper,
I hope you had a good weekend.
Thank you for the invitation to the login. Unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.
What I meant is can you provide me with your system information as explained in the following link: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
That being said, if the only thing you are looking for is the location of the translations, a lot of them can probably be found in the language files of Events Tickets or Events Tickets Plus (e.g.: Ticket Sales is found in the Event Tickets Plus po/mo file).
One quick tip, you might find the the pot file and the po/mo files packaged with the plugin are not up to date.
I recommend going to Glotpress to get the latest versions of the language files: https://theeventscalendar.com/moving-to-glotpress/Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Guadalupe,
My bad, I forgot to tell you that by default, there is no visitor role in WordPress.
You will need to create one through the functions.php of your WordPress theme.
This very topic is discussed right here: http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/107622/i-need-to-assign-a-role-to-visitors-guestsLet me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Built-in, there is no option that allows for site owners to get notified whenever an RSVP ticket is used in Event Tickets.
Using Events Tickets Plus will provide such a functionality, but via the e-commerce plugin of your choice (WooCommerce, EDD, etc..), not for RSVP tickets specifically. In order to get notified whenever somebody purchases an RSVP plugin, you will need to use a plugin such as Better Notifications for WordPress.
Basically you will need to add a rule to get notified every time a tribe_rsvp_attendees post is published 🙂
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
The short answer to your question is yes. You can totally modify the display layer to your liking.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to do so (if you haven’t already). To summarize, basically you:
- Copy the template file from the view you are interested in changing to the tribe-events folder of your WordPress theme
- You edit the file to your liking
- The edited file will have priority over the built-in view file
As for the offer to see what you have done so far, we are absolutely interested. Please hit us up when you have a chance!
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Matthew and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the adding ticket to the cart issue you have been dealing with.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I would do is to move from WooTickets to our Event Tickets Plus plugin. Simply put, the WooTickets compatibility with the latest version of our plugins is shady at best 🙁
The great news is that we have the perfect guide to help you do just that 🙂
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Baidaa and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the display issue you have been experiencing.
The good news is I’m pretty confident that this is a simple matter of adjusting a few CSS rules (which should be fairly straightforward and easy).
In order to do that however, I would you to provide me with an example of such a single page (the URL), in a private reply if you prefer.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the hard time the knowledge base article has been giving you 🙁
It certainly was not our intention.I would love to help you with this topic.
To make a long story short, we absolutely encourage customization. In fact we made sure that the plugins offer a great deal of flexibility for that very purpose.
However, as you can imagine, we cannot fully support it. But… we absolutely try our best to get everybody started on the right track! With that in mind, I would recommend the following knowledge base article which is slightly simpler and does a very similar job.
And perhaps, if you haven’t already, you might want to read our Themer’s guide for some overall knowledge on ways to customize our plugin.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Juan and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the fact that the location search never worked for you.
I would love to help you with this topic. To begin troubleshooting, there are a couple of things I would need from you:
- Could you please give me an example of something you would type in the search bar when searching by location ?
- Could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out. Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
More specifically, I would love to see if the issue persists after deactivating JetPack and the test geoloc connectivity plugin.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Ismail,
Thank you for your very honest answer.
I am sorry if my answer was scary, I certainly did not mean to make it complicated.I guess I was probably overly focused on finding an immediate solution for you. My apologies.
To put this into context, you are absolutely right. We always favour simple solutions that do not require any coding. Furthermore, we try our best at making every possible change to our programming compatible with as many WordPress themes as possible.
Alas, as hard as we try, sometimes we fall a bit short on that last part for reasons outside of our control.
As you pointed out, this issue is unfortunately impacting several of our users. But not all of them (depending on the WordPress theme they are using).
The good news is that one of our wonderful customers has identified the cause:
As such, a bug ticket has been opened and you will be notified as soon as we have a fix for it.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this is causing. In the meantime, the workarounds are as follows:
- Follow my initial suggestion (which will work)
- Adding some CSS rules to diminish the impact of this issue (as suggested in the same post as above)
- Reverting back to the earlier version of the plugin
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have 🙁
Let me know if you need help with any of these.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Hamish,
Thank you for your feedback. I can absolutely understand why you would feel this way.
That being said, there is of course a good number of technical reasons as to why the plugin is built the way it is. You’ll be glad to know that most of these are in order to offer flexibility and features to our clients.
As mentioned previously, we are currently working on a solution to this very popular request. So stay tuned!
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood morning Alexander,
Thank you for the updated system information.
I did a bit more research on you specific issue. The relatively good news is that this type of issue has indeed been fixed for our other users. So, as you can imagine, we are really looking forward to fixing it for you too.
To leave no stone unturned, we will have to conduct the full battery of tests again (I know this is not fun, but it’s actually the quickest way to pinpoint the issue). I will be doing some of them on my end with the Latvian language specifically.
With that in mind, I would special consideration to the following plugins:
- Loco Translate (if this is how you are getting your translations for our plugin, I would advise against it)
- W3 total cache (making sure all cache is cleared properly)
- Post duplicator (if your events have been created using this, it could be a cause)
Furthermore, I would like you to perform 2 additional tests:
- Create a brand new event from scratch and let me know if the issue persists (ideally with every plugin de-activated, the patch functions.php removed, the cache cleared/deactivated AND a default WP theme)
- Re-save an existing event (under the same conditions as above) and look for the issue.
Have a great day!
Geoff B.
