MemberHey Ismail,
This is awesome news. We should celebrate!
Have a wonderful rest of the week and you are always welcome back!
Cheers,

MemberHey Gary,
I do appreciate the extra attention and time you have put into this. Kudos!
You are most likely very correct in your observation (of not seeing event data where you should).
It is possible that this might be a code issue. In which case I’ll be more than happy to report this as a bug. However, before we go there, since I am unable to replicate the issue you are describing, I still believe doing a simple set of tests for conflicts with another WP plugin or with your WP theme is the fastest way to establish if the odd behaviour does indeed come from the code.
In other words, the most efficient way to go is to isolate the issue prior to exploring the actual code of the plugin 🙂
Let me know what your findings are.
Best regards,

MemberHello Michael,
Thank you for sending me the system information, that’s super helpful.
So sorry to hear that something is crashing your page 🙁
So let’s deal with that first.Once we are done with that we can resume resolving the first issue.
Could you tell me what happened that seems to have caused the crash ? (update, normal operation, after activating another plugin, trying to add Events Tickets Plus – I noticed the plugin is not installed in the list you provided ) ?
In any case, I would recommend reinstalling the plugin files (overwriting them) with fresh ones if you haven’t already.
If that still does not work, could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberHi again Shelley,
Thank you for clarifying this.
It does look like the way the plugin sets the order to “Completed” does not follow the same procedure as when done manually. My best recommendation for you would be to talk to that plugin’s author to make them aware that the method they are using to mark an order as “Completed” does not result in hooks associated with the order status change to be triggered.
It is possible that the plugin only changes the status in the DB directly instead of going through a function to automatically replicate changing the status.
In any case, as you might expect, as much as we love to help, I am unable to support how this third-party plugin performs its task 🙁
Best of luck and let me know if the author has a tip for this (it might benefit other users as well).
Have a great day!

MemberHello again Shelley,
Actually, and I’m afraid this is not the best news for your client, at this point the only way to customize the email in question is through some variation of modifying the Email.php file.
In fact, the best way to go about customizations is explained in our Themer’s guide.
To make a long story short, the modified files that are put in the tribe-events folder of your WordPress theme will have priority over the built-in files (which also means you don’t lose your changes after updating the plugin).Perhaps, you could suggest it or cast your vote on other features in our User Voice forum ?
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHey Line,
No worries, I will gladly guide you through this 🙂
First of all, the most important step is to be able to do a backup of your database in case you need to go back to it.
If you are uncomfortable with this step, you might consider a plugin to do this (e.g.: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-database-backup/)Option 1 (or a variation of it) would probably be the simplest approach. You need to copy the code in the functions.php of your WordPress theme. You can find that file in /wp-content/themes/[name-of-your-theme]
For more detailed instructions on how to use it, please read the following great post from my colleague Nico:https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/cant-re-import-same-events-from-ical-feed-after-importing-and-deleting-them/
Basically what we are trying to do is to remove
Option 2 If that does not work for you, then I would totally give the delete revisions plugin a shot.
Basically after installing the plugin, you need to run it through your dashboard. More info on that topic here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-delete-revision/screenshots/
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Adrian,
I’m sorry this didn’t work out for you.
We’ll have to be doing a bit of additional testing to identify the root of the issue. Thank you for your patience.
Could you please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
Additionally, is it possible for you to share with me a screenshot of your settings for the event urls (found in Events -> Settings -> General)?
Finally, while on that specific screen, I would try re-saving the URL settings on that page.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberHey Juan,
Unfortunately, we don’t tackle customizations ourselves.
But I think you would be well served by one of our recommended customizers .Have a great day!

MemberHey Filippo,
I’m glad that worked for you.
In all honesty, that button is relatively new.For now, there is no automatic way to do this with Facebook events unfortunately 🙁
But, you can suggest it or cast your vote on other features in our User Voice forum.
Have a great day!

MemberThank you for the quick reply.
OK, so let’s rule out Event Rocket then.
I apologize, it’s totally my bad about the SEO plugin.
So let me rephrase my question: Could you tell me what your settings are for custom post types in All-in-one ? (checkboxes, follow and index settings)Also, I went ahead and tried one of the links from your Google Analytics screenshot (http://laugh-masters.com.au/events/category/level-2-sketch/2017-06/).
But I was met with the following message “No matching events listed under Level 2 Sketch. Please try viewing the full calendar for a complete list of events.”I also did some extra research and found that we’ve uncovered a recently-introduced bug that is increasing soft 404 errors. It’s related to visibility of the event, more specifically when the events are set to private. Based on that finding, could you tell me what the visibility setting of the soft 404 events is ?
Cheers,

MemberHey Lionel,
As a side note, I can totally switch this conversation to French if you prefer 🙂
1) Whis one of these 4 files need I to edit ?
– the-events-calendar-fr-ca.po
– the-events-calendar-fr-ca.mo
– the-events-calendar-fr_FR.po
– the-events-calendar-fr_FR.moTo answer your question, it depends on the language of the WordPress install (found in Settings -> General)
2) I searched on each of these 4 files, and there is no match for the search “afficher les événements” !
Hmmm, could you try the same search with “Find Events” as a search string instead ?
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberHey HRR,
Wow, that’s so awesome!
You are always welcome to come back to the forums for any other questions.
For now, I am just going to go ahead and close this thread.

MemberHey Neal,
I’m glad the answer was useful to you 🙂
We certainly try hard to help you guys out the best we can.The only known bug currently impacting stock in an undesired way is when an order is placed manually though the backend.
Because my client has done that a few times and I think that is one of the issues. Is there going to be a fix on that soon?
That’s a great question. I just uncovered that bug myself this week (thanks to one of our awesome customers), so in short, I don’t have a date for the fix yet.
But, since this is a serious matter, we are going to treat it accordingly. Stay tuned!Let me know if you have any other questions based on the exchange so far.
Cheers,
Geoff B.
