ParticipantHi — I’m using Event Tickets Plus with Woocommerce & Events Calendar Pro. When the user purchases a ticket, they receive the email confirming their purchase, which says their tickets will come in a separate email, but the ticket email doesn’t happen. I’m seeing a blank in the email configuration table (screenshot attached). I saw something in another post about the QR codes & a missing PHP library (???) Can you help me figure this out? Thanks!

ParticipantUpdate…
This was the post about the PHP library & QR codes: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-ticket-plus-does-not-send-emails-with-tickets/March 1, 2016 at 7:57 pm #1084171Geoff B.
MemberHello again Shelley,
This must be a very frustrating issue!
I am not sure if you knew this, but tickets are actually only sent out once the WooCommerce order status is set to “Completed”.
Could you tell me if that’s the case ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantSorry — I should have clarified that… I’m using an autocomplete plugin for Woocommerce orders, and upon looking a little further, I’m seeing that the issue occurs only when orders are autocompleted. If I mark a ticket order completed manually, the tickets send properly. With autocomplete activated, the order is marked completed but tickets are not sent.

MemberHi again Shelley,
Thank you for clarifying this.
It does look like the way the plugin sets the order to “Completed” does not follow the same procedure as when done manually. My best recommendation for you would be to talk to that plugin’s author to make them aware that the method they are using to mark an order as “Completed” does not result in hooks associated with the order status change to be triggered.
It is possible that the plugin only changes the status in the DB directly instead of going through a function to automatically replicate changing the status.
In any case, as you might expect, as much as we love to help, I am unable to support how this third-party plugin performs its task 🙁
Best of luck and let me know if the author has a tip for this (it might benefit other users as well).
Have a great day!
Geoff B.
