ParticipantHi — I’m using Event Tickets Plus with Woocommerce & Events Calendar Pro. I am trying to figure out how to edit the content of the emails that ticket buyers receive, including the confirmatiom of their purchase and their actual ticket. I’m not finding the correct files to edit as what I’m seeing in the forums appears to apply to the old Wootickets plugin. Thanks!

ParticipantHi Geoff — Thanks for the reply! Looks like will work for me to edit the Email.php file for the actual tickets, but it’s not a good option for my cient who wants to be able to customize the emails sent to customers, as client is not familiar with PHP. I’m also looking for a way for them to be able to customize the other emails that go out when Tickets are purchased — in particular, the one that says “you will receive your tickets in a separate email.” Recommendations??? Thank you!

MemberHello again Shelley,
Actually, and I’m afraid this is not the best news for your client, at this point the only way to customize the email in question is through some variation of modifying the Email.php file.
In fact, the best way to go about customizations is explained in our Themer’s guide.
To make a long story short, the modified files that are put in the tribe-events folder of your WordPress theme will have priority over the built-in files (which also means you don’t lose your changes after updating the plugin).Perhaps, you could suggest it or cast your vote on other features in our User Voice forum ?
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
