    Good evening Russell and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the week view selector displaying a single event.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    While in the default calendar view (http://s13244.p20.sites.pressdns.com/calendar/), switching to week view brings me to a single event.

    I tried to reproduce this on your website as well as on my installation. Unfortunately, I was not able to. The weekly view switcher worked as expected.

    Did you change anything since writing earlier by any chance ?

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ? (following the instructions found in the link)

    While in category view (http://s13244.p20.sites.pressdns.com/calendar/category/anaheim-hills/), switching to week view gives me a “no results found” message, which is also wrong

    Here too, the weekly selector worked as expected on your website (see previous answer).

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hi again Todd,

    Could you try the following snippet: https://git.io/vwORL ?

    Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening Tommy,

    1. I just went through the themer’s guide but couldn’t find references about email change. Can you point me where I can read about adding “Event Date” in the woocommerce order emails?

    Just to set expectations before we continue, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our wonderful customers started on the right track to customize their site and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

    With that in mind, there is no special instruction to add the event date specifically. Rather the possibility to tweak the template to your liking (including adding the date)

    To change the email to your liking, you need to copy the file mentioned here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/#tickets to the /tribe-events/ folder of your WordPress theme.

    Once that is done, you can tweak it to your liking. This file will have priority over the default email template.

    If that is out of your confort zone, you might want to hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    2. On mobile, we are unable to click the date or event to view details and book tickets.

    This could be related to one of 2 things:

    • The version of the plugins you are using (see point 3) – most likely
    • Some type of conflict (theme, customization or plugins)

    3. I think there was a misunderstanding. Thank you for the invitation, but unfortunately, our policy does not allow us to log in to clients websites for several reasons, including liability.

    What I meant was to provide the system information as explained here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Could you share that with me because there is a strong chance that this will help solve a few issues.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Todd,

    Thank you for clarifying. Totally my bad.

    I am pretty sure it is possible to do so by adding a snippet to the functions.php file of your WordPress theme.

    I will check with some of our Dev people tomorrow and see if they can provide me with the necessary code.

    Good evening Elian,

    Yes, you are absolutely right, you only get the option to sign-in if you are one of our premium add-on customers.

    So, we have a couple of options on how to handle this:

    1. You could share you system info publicly (not the login, just the list of plugins and versions)
    2. You could reopen this question on our public forums: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar

    Let me know what you decide,

    Best regards,

    Good evening Henriette,

    Thank you for upgrading to Event Tickets Plus, this will help solve a lot of issues.

    I am sorry to hear that you are still experiencing issues with the stock count of your tickets.
    I forgot to mention that updating to Event Ticket Plus will not actually fix tickets where this was the case, but rather prevent it from happening again.

    But since you are still experiencing issues with both new and existing events, it is possible that there is a conflict at play here. The most probable cause is if you WordPress theme has some customizations pertaining to tickets (which would probably need updating).

    Could you run a quick test by temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen and seeing if the problem persists ?

    Regarding the error messages you are getting from the settings page (which might help once we solve it), I believe you should read my colleague George’s great recommendations on a very similar topic. Hopefully this should solve things for you: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/warning-sprintf-function-sprintf-too-few-arguments-in-nfsc01h06mnt68/

    How do I hide/delete/ not show this:?

    You can hide it by simply adding the following CSS rule to your WordPress theme

    .tribe-tickets-attendees-list-optout {display:none;}

    You are making a very good point about the options being added by default. The intention in providing these new features was really good, but after many users comments (including yours), we will make a special effort to always leave things as an option when there are new features.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Riccardo,

    I realize you are trying to remove the email only for certain categories.
    This is what I meant when I said that you will need to tweak the code (by adding an IF conditional with the categories you want to exclude).

    As pointed out earlier, unfortunately, the scope of our support is to get our customers started on the right track to customize their site and to help them in case of issues. We do not provide complete support for customization.

    If tweaking the code is slightly beyond your confort zone, you might want to hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Chris,

    Thank you for providing your system information.

    I’m glad that you managed to solve at least 1 of the issues you had. Kudos on that!

    In regards to the other issues, here are some answers.

    One is the Facebook Importer. It has stopped letting me in. If I click on Events > Import and click on the Facebook tab, the page tries to load but never does; I either get an “error: timed out” page, or more usually just a blank page. The iCal and CSV tabs load fine.

    This seems slightly to be a slightly different issue than the thread you were referring to earlier. Would you mind giving me a sample FB URL or page that you are trying to import from so that I can run some tests ?

    And re Events Rocket. We used this because the Events Calendar widget is so basic. We want much more flexibility – a widget where we can display a combination of categories, exclude certain categories etc, perhaps choose a time period, rather than have the bald choice of displaying all categories or just one. Would we be able to have the API to create our own customised widget? Or is there another way to create the sort of widget which we need?

    I absolutely hear and understand what you are saying. More flexibility is always a good thing.

    There are a couple of ways you could achieve what you are looking for:

    1. You can suggest and vote for additional features in our User Voice Forum: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
    2. You can tweak pretty much anything (including the widgets) to your liking with a combination of our Themer’s guide, our functions archive and by doing a search in our forums, documentation and knowledge base (there are many snippets available for free!)
    3. If you are in a hurry or this is beyond your confort zone, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Johannes,

    Thank you for your answer.

    I was able to reproduce the issue, so I will tag this as a bug.
    Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted as soon as a fix is released.

    We are sorry for the inconvenience this is creating.

    On a side note, I don’t know if you were aware of this, but the ideal procedure for clean imports is to have 3 separate csv files as detailed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-the-events-calendars-csv-importer/

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Good evening Jürgen,

    Thank you for providing me with your system information and with the snippets you tried applying.

    What I am not clear about yet, for which I apologize, is what the issue is exactly ?

    I think this is mainly because the picture you were referring to in the first comment is no longer there.

    Also, you mentioned that you were successful doing your customization with the previous template. Does that mean that you have switched WordPress themes recently or that you are using a different page template?

    Just to set expectations, before we continue, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our wonderful customers started on the right track to customize their site and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

    With that in mind, I think what is going on is that you are combining 2 pieces of codes that were done at 2 different times. I also think that the second part of your code actually doesn’t come from the https://gist.github.com/elimn/a7dcd0a63815db583c1e link.

    Would you mind providing me with the correct origin of the second part of your snippet so that I can ask the snippet author ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Patrick,

    I am glad to know that you managed to hide the price as you wanted to.

    But, I am sorry to hear that the payment options during the checkout are gone.

    Normally, there is no relation between the CSS rule and the payment options, but I’ll be happy to help you figure it out.

    Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, could you confirm if you are expecting to see the payment options here: http://www.forum-theater.de/kasse/ or http://www.forum-theater.de/warenkorb/ ?

    In any case, could you take a look at WooCommerce -> Settings -> Checkout and tell me what you see under Payment Gateways (a screenshot would be best) ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Hani,

    Thank you for the extra details.

    Here are the suggested CSS rules to accomplish what your looking for:

    1.

    .tribe-bar-disabled {
    float: left;
    }

    .tribe-bar-is-disabled .tribe-events-page-title {
    float: right;
    }

    2.
    .single-tribe_events .tribe-events-single-event-title {
    text-align: center;
    }

    .tribe-events-schedule h2 {
    text-align: center;
    font-size: 17px;
    }

    3. Smaller size
    .tribe-mini-calendar-event .list-info h2 {
    font-size: 13px;
    }

    Remove date icon

    .vc_sidebar .tribe-mini-calendar-event .list-date {
    display:none;
    }

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Hey Ameet,

    I am sorry about the confusion. This is totally my bad.

    I went ahead and tested this out under several conditions and I am unable to reproduce the issue.
    The modal works exactly as expected on my end (it doesn’t load up the whole site but rather the proper option to send to an organizer or to an email address).

    This means that I am pretty sure that there is some form of conflict at play here (either a template customization, a plugin or some security).

    The first quick test I would recommend running is trying to revert temporarily back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen. That way, it will rule out any WordPress theme or template customization conflict.

    If that doesn’t work out, could you please go through our complete testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out. Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon John,

    I like the idea behind your workaround. It’s very creative.

    Unfortunately, as much as I hate being the bearer of bad news, there is no cap on the ticket fees.
    As you can see, the only other built-in option is to have a % AND a fee simultaneously on ticket sales.

    That being said, you might want to make these excellent suggestions on our User voice page.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
