ParticipantHi. I’ve purchased Events Calendar Pro and have a few questions regarding importing events.
Like the topic states I can import events using CSV-import.
When I do it the first time this works as expected and I can see the featured image. If I try re-importing the event – the status text says I have an updated event, and the event featured image disappears.Best Regards

MemberGood evening Johannes and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for sharing your system information.
I would love to help you with this topic.
The first thing I’d like to do would be to try to reproduce this on my end.
For that purpose, could you please share with me a link to the .csv file you are using (in a private reply if you prefer) ?
Secondly, if you don’t mind me asking, could you please tell me why you are reimporting the events a second time ? (just so that I get a better understanding of what you are trying to do).
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
The reason for me reimporting the events is based on the fact that I have MANY events and as times go by they are subject to change – this means that I can maintain my CSV-file and just reimport once in a while to keep updated.Bare in mind it is in Danish (which also could be the root-cause of the issue? – Localization?)
I have added a csv file with an event – create or ignore the venue, import it – works.
Reimport it – featured image gone…April 18, 2016 at 7:27 pm #1104027Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Johannes,
Thank you for your answer.
I was able to reproduce the issue, so I will tag this as a bug.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted as soon as a fix is released. We are sorry for the inconvenience this is creating.
On a side note, I don’t know if you were aware of this, but the ideal procedure for clean imports is to have 3 separate csv files as detailed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-the-events-calendars-csv-importer/
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
