MemberHey Jessica,
This is fantastic. Thank you for sharing for everybody’s benefit.
Kudos on finding the culprit! As a side note, technically that snippet of code in functions.php is considered a customization 🙂
Is there anything I can help you with on this topic ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHello Shannon,
Thank you for your answer and kudos on reading the support requirements 🙂
I did a bit more research based on your findings and it turns out that there are indeed some known incompatibilities between our plugins and WP Touch at least.
I am less familiar with JetPack’s mobile theme, but it is possible that there is a conflict there too.Full disclosure, as much as we try to make our plugins play well with most plugins and themes out there, sometimes that is simply not possible.
Unfortunately since more and more people tend to prefer fully responsive theme rather than a plugin such as WP touch these days, it is highly unlikely that there will be a fix for it.
But, as you will find out, the plugins work great with the vast majority of WordPress themes out there, including the most popular onesI wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,

MemberHey Simon,
Thank you for your detailed answer. That helps a lot.
Based on what I am seeing, the most likely potential cause I see is that you might have some template customization that needs updating in your child theme to work with the latest version of Pro.
This is usually found in either the <b>/tribe-events/</b> folder of your WordPress theme’s directory or in its <b>functions.php</b> file.
Displaying in the latest post feed is not default WordPress behaviour, so I would start by looking in the following places: functions.php, archive.php, index.php
In fact, if you don’t mind, could you send me a copy of your child theme in a zip file (in a private reply)
Let me know if you find anything there ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

I would love to help you with this topic.is there a way I can edit the “Register” link to go to another page instead of the wp-login page?
Absolutely. I would recommend reading our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that’s done as a starting point.
This will allow you to customize pretty much everything you want.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I would love to answer your questions. Is there any way that under Venues on the Submit Event page we can make sure that venues aren’t being duplicated?
Technically I am sure that it’s possible to implement such a validation. However, this is not built-in and can only be achieved through customization.
Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
You can:
- Read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works
- Hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you
Or at least give a reminder to those submitting the events to make sure their venue isn’t already listed? — Could this be done via functions.php to just put a note after VENUES dropdown like: (Please check venue dropdown before filling out venue fields.)
Absolutely, this is probably the easiest and simplest solution. I would still recommend the themer’s guide as a starting point for this.
Let me know how that goes.

We are sorry to hear about the fact that you are unable to save the RSVP ticket to WooCommerce.
I would love to help you with this topic.Currently, it is not possible to change the ticket type from RSVP to WooCommerce after it has been defined.
This is something we are working on fixing. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned you will be contacted when the fix will be completed! In the meantime, the simplest thing to do is to create a new WooCommerce ticket and hide the old RSVP ticket from the front-end.
Or, if you backup the RSVP ticket data, you could delete it.
From there you would operate only with the new WooCommerce ticket.Let me know if I can help with that ?

MemberHey Chris,
First off I want to apologize for the bumpy road to get to this point.
So let’s recap:
- There is currently no section header in the backend for custom fields (which is a feature that was overlooked and for which I have opened a ticket)
- You would want to be able to add such a section header immediately and preferably be in control of how it reads
- Currently, since that feature does not exist, at best I can direct you to the file where you could add it in
The file in question is /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/admin-views/event-meta.php
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHey Scott,
Awesome!
I believe that what is going on is that the padding rules for Table cells in your template are causing the calendar to exceed the width of the sidebar.
Also, I am not sure which web browser you are using specifically, but I can see all 7 days on Chrome. In any case, please try adding the following CSS rule
.edenHPBlock .tribe-mini-calendar-wrapper table td {padding:14px !important}That should fix it. If it doesn’t, try reducing the padding value.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
