Good evening Rosa and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with WPML and recurring events.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As you noted, what is going on is that unfortunately, recurring events with WPML are not fully supported with our plugin.
    We apologize for the inconvenience.

The good news is that we are currently working at fixing that and things look pretty good on that front.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

The other good news is that there is a manual workaround available in the meantime.
To be able to apply that workaround, you need to:

    1. Be comfortable making a DB backup
    2. Be comfortable editing tables in PHPMyAdmin

Let me know if that is the case.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Robert,

Thank you for getting back to us.

I am stoked to see that you found a solution to your issue. That was a lot of work. Kudos!

It does indeed look like there might have been some database corruption in the process of upgrading.
Normally this should have been dealt with by the upgrade procedure, we are sincerely sorry to see that it was not smooth sailing as it should have been.

You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂

    Hey Hans-Gerd,

Thank you for your good words and for taking time to answer.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get in touch with the specific Dev I had in mind today since there a few national holidays this week in America.

Maybe there is even the possibility of a menu option that allows a day view without using a custom link. As standard view we selected the list view in the settings of TEC.

We are actually working at expanding our shortcode possibilities to enable embedding different view on the pages of your choice.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

In the meantime, perhaps you could indeed use a different strategy to get what you are looking for.
A snippet such as the ones discussed here could help:

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Matthew and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing with Recurrence rules.
I would love to help you with this topic.

By the looks of it, there is some type of conflict at play, either with another plugin, your WordPress theme or a template customization.

You are right, you should backup everything before running any test.

Perhaps with a maintenance / coming soon plugin active, you could try the following:

    1. Deactivate all other plugins to see if the issue persists
    2. Look at the Google console in that page to see if the recurrence rule is hidden by CSS
    3. Look at the Google console in that page to see if there are any errors

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Chris and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would love to help you with this topic.

What is going on is that you have another CSS rules for @media (max-width: 600px) that is overriding your previous CSS rule.
The simplest solution is to modify your current CSS rule slightly:

    .tribe-tickets-attendees-list-optout {
    display: none !important;
    }

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Mogul Creative and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would love to help you with this topic.

Currently, we have no built-in way to accomplish this unfortunately.

We are however working on enhancing our shortcodes possibilities to allow our customers to embed different views on the page of their choice (including the home page).

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!

In the meantime, there are a couple of things you could do however.

But, just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

    You could:

    • Redirect your home page to the calendar page with Photo view as the default view (using a redirect plugin or manually)
    • Program a custom page template using Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    • Hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Laura and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the date pickers not displaying properly.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I recommend adding some extra CSS rules to your WordPress theme or child theme to make the date pickers look better.

    .tribe-events-community-details > table > tbody > tr > td {max-width: 190px !important}

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Peter and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the 404 page.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The first thing I would try is to re-save your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks.

As a second troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Good evening Kyle and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for the system information.

We are sorry to hear about the events not displaying properly after the update.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The first thing I would try is to re-save your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks.

Secondly, please note that Event Rocket is retired since version 4.x of the Events Calendar plugins.
As such, it is very likely that it is going to cause several issues by keeping it active.

Finally, you might want to also upgrade to the Events Calendar Pro 4.1.3

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Andres and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would love to help you with this topic.

Normally the translation should be found in event-tickets-plus/lang/event-tickets-plus-es_ES.po

That being said, there are a couple of things you can do if you are not finding what you are looking for:

    1. Make sure you have the most recent version of the language file (sometimes the files included with the plugin are not the latest). You can find the latest versions here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
    2. Use the following snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

If none of these approaches work, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening Derek,

Thank you for the theme files.

I installed that theme on my install and changed it’s functions.php with the snippet and it worked like a charm.

Here’s a copy of my modified functions.php (I still recommend backing up prior to using it)

    Modified file

Let me know how that goes.

    Good evening Dmitry,

    Thank you for that info.
I see what you mean. The issue can be seen at http://grechko.emercompu.com/events/

The term “Monthly Events” is actually not generated by our plugin.
This comes from either your WordPress theme or from the plugin you are using to generate the breadcrumbs.

I would recommend contacting the theme’s author or plugin author about this as I am limited in the support I can provide for that.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
