MemberGood evening Lucy and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the customers being unable to select dates on mobile devices.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

That being said, I took a quick look at your website and I believe there is a Javascript error in place (j.bootstrapDatepicker is not a function) preventing the mobile version from working properly.
Could you also please go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Mindie,
Thank you for writing back.
I sent a dropbox link with a text file to the [email protected] Couldn’t find another email address.
Actually, that email address unfortunately does not work. I would recommend simply providing the link in a private reply.
We have no idea which tickets are faulty and which aren’t when we adjust quantities.
Ideally, it would help if we had the most information possible on the cases where this is happening.
What I am trying to find out is what do the faulty events have in common.I have another follow-up question as I wait for the theme.
Do you know if any of the tickets are refunded or cancelled at some point ? If so, could you please let me know how that is accomplished on your end ?
Hang in there as we try to pinpoint this.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. That’s a great question.
I am assuming you are talking about the Community Events form. The short answer is yes, you can achieve what you are looking for.
To do that will require some template customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. You could then add a validation for each field to set the length of your choice.
This can be accomplished in many ways: JQuery, JavaScript, etc..
Most people find using the following method to be the simplest: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_input_maxlength.asp
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Dave and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your question. Is this possible and if so, do I need the tickets module or other kind of add-on? Thanks!
Yes, absolutely.
In order to sell tickets, you will need:
- Our Event Tickets free plugin https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
- Our Event Tickets Plus premium add-0n https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
Once that is done, you will need to setup the e-commerce plugin of your choice ( WooCommerce being the most popular )
From there, you will need:- Another plugin that lets you manage discounts based on user role (if your members have a special WordPress user role). E.g.: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-role-based-price/
- A discount code (known only to your members) requires no extra plugin, it can be added directly within your e-commerce plugin.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the fact that you are not receiving notifications when users submit events for review.

Secondly, would you mind sharing a screenshot of your settings under Events -> Settings -> Community ?
Finally, if you haven’t already, I would recommend installing and configuring a plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
This has been useful to many users in your situation.

MemberGood evening Nathaniel,
Thank you for writing back.
You are right, the initial issue is gone.
However, there is a new message that breaks Javascript on that page (at least):
Uncaught TypeError: owl.owlCarousel is not a functionSo I would recommend solving that next.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Ingrid,
Thank you for the files.
Using the Default Events Template under Events -> Settings -> Display, I was able to reproduce the issue.
I also noticed that this is the only setting in that dropdown menu that might display the calendar.
All the other settings, even “blank page” will not display the calendar. To be fully transparent, although we do try to make our plugins compatible with the most amount of themes possible, sometimes there needs to be some customization to fix some incompatibilities.
This has unfortunately been the case a few times with the X theme (which is a great theme, that being said).
Based on the fact that you said that it worked great before the last update), you could simply downgrade our plugins until we figure out what is going on.
I recommend reading the following: <u>https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/</u>
I would recommend browsing the theme’s forums or contacting the theme’s author to enquire about the incompatibility.
I have opened a ticket for this bug.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
Best regards and thank you for your understading,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Roger and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the fact that you can’t edit tickets after their initial creation. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete most recent system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
On a related note, I just ran a quick test with the latest version of our plugins and Divi and I was not able to reproduce this issue.
In a way that’s good news, because I am pretty sure that we can do something about it.While you are at it, would you mind sharing the version number of the Divi copy you are using ?
Best regards,

Secondly, there is a fairly strong chance that the issue can be fixed by going to Events -> Settings -> Display and changing the settings for the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” option.
Let me know if that helps.

MemberGood evening Hovig and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with these questions.
In the Single Event page view, the main page title is displaying ‘The Blog’. How can I change that?
That’s a great question. It seems like your WordPress theme treats any “single” page as a blog page (hence the title). You have a couple of solutions for this:
- Tweak the settings that are meant for single posts in your WordPress theme settings in order to remove that title for events
- Try a different setting under Events -> Settings -> Display (try changing the settings for the Events Template dropdown menu)
- Hide the whole thing with CSS
.single-tribe_events .x-landmark {display:none;}In the List view page, the text is appearing under the image, rather than next to it. I’d like the text to be inline with the image.
Try the following CSS rule:
.tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image+div.tribe-events-content {
width: 57%;
}Incidentally, it would be really helpful to have a ‘search’ feature on your plugin forum page itself.
That’s a great point.
We can’t do much about the wordpress.org forum page of our plugin (due to WordPress rules and guidelines).
But, I highly recommend the search tool from our premium plugins website:
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I have some good news (that goes for you too @Jim). You can do exactly what you are looking for.
All you need to do is use a third-party plugin that allows you to clone or duplicate custom post types (in this case Events).
One of those plugins is even specifically tailored for the Events Calendar.Check it out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-tec-event/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the broken recurrences.
I would love to help you with this topic.I tried to reproduce on my end, but alas with no success.
The events show up as intended. As a first troubleshooting step, would you mind updating to the latest versions of the Events Calendar, Community Events and the Events Calendar Pro (4.2.3) ?
