1- Can I create multiple calendars with one install, one for each sectors, that I can recall via shortcodes or else?

2- Rather than be redirected to event page, can I just display an info box, something like a tooltip, right on the calendar page (and disable links to other pages)

Absolument.

3-Can I have many event categories inside one calendar? Ex: Calendar for sector A will contains three types of events: recycling, trash and compost. Different colors by category.

    Oui, absolument.

4-If yes, can I extract some data to display elsewhere. Ex: I would take the recycling schedule from one calendar and display the date of the next event in a “Next collect is” box.

    Cordialement,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Jonathan and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You will probably find that this happens mostly with events where there is a ticket sale start and/or end date.

Depending on what you prefer, you might:

    1. Simply hide those messages with CSS
    2. Remove them altogether from the code – using a template customization.

Let me know what you would prefer.

    Have a great day!

    Cordialement,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Lucy,

Thank you for writing back and for the system information.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I was merely trying to expedite the process (for the benefit of your customers).

With that in mind, my first recommendation would be to update your the Events Calendar Pro add-on to the latest version (4.2.3) as this is the most likely cause of the issue.

If that still does not fix it, could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Kevin,

    Thank you for writing back.

Wow, I am super impressed by this solution.
Thank you so much for sharing it for everybody’s benefit.

I will ask Dev to see if I a snippet could not do exactly that.

I will get back to you with my findings.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Roger,

Thank you for writing back and for sharing your system information.

Based on that, it looks like you might be using a Divi Child theme.

Could you please send me a copy of your Divi child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Furthermore, if you could tell me which version of Divi is installed, that would be awesome.

Hang in there as we sort this through.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Hovig,

I’m glad that the solution for the title worked for you.

As for the second part of the issue, you are right. There is probably something interfering.
I did not see the rule I shared above in the CSS of your web page currently, so it’s hard to say.

    I would recommend:

    1. Checking your setting under Events -> Settings -> Display (check the setting for Default stylesheet used for events templates)
    2. Try adding !important at the end of the CSS rule.

    .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image+div.tribe-events-content {
    width: 57% !important;

    }

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Hey Vincent,

Thank you for writing back and running those tests.

It does look like there is something in the plugin that’s altering the shopping cart.
The best solution would be to be able to tweak that behaviour.

There are many approaches to this:

    1. Adding a filter in your themes functions.php to set the quantity to zero for the functions used by braintree to create the “Add to cart” box.
    2. Contacting the plugin’s author to see how to go about doing this.
    3. Could you please send me a copy of that plugin in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I can’t promise anything, but I’ll gladly take a look

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    @Jim,

I totally understand where you are coming from. The good news is, based on the feedback I have received so far, you should be safe with this one.

Furthermore, you are right, it would great to have this feature built-in.

Since we receive a large number of feature requests every month, we typically try to program the most popular ones first.
With that in mind you can vote for that very feature here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3874714-duplicate-events

    Best regards,
