I am using Eventum theme with Event Tickets Plus + WooCommerce. Creating event and tickets can be done without problem at the backend. In the front, only event can be created. Is it possible to bring ticket creation to the frontend as well? Which functions/codes should I use?

Also, is there a way to set ticket Sell Using to WooCommerce as default?

Good evening Allan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Yes it is. This is accomplished via the use of the 2 following add-ons:

    1. Community Events: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
    2. Community Tickets: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/

I believe my colleague Brook has just what you need: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/possible-to-remove-rsvp-as-a-ticket-option/#post-1102859

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hi,

Since that I have Eventum theme, which can create event, I don’t need Community Events. Is there any other way?

I tried to follow the Themer Guide to change some defaults, like minimum number of tickets. It is possible from the src/views folder, but the copy that I placed under theme folder won’t work.

From /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views to /wp-content/themes/Eventum/tribe-events/tickets. What did I do wrong?

    Good evening Allan,

    Thank you for writing back.

As for the Community Events and Community Tickets options, can we use Eventum as the theme since we already pay for it and we really like it, and use only CT for tickets?

This is really up to you. In all cases, you can continue to use the Eventum theme.

As you know, Eventum comes with it’s own Event management system. It will boil down to deciding what combination of tools works for you.

I was not able to test community events with Eventum, since I do not have a licence for Eventum (which blocks pages from being displayed).
But I don’t foresee any issue with it.

Provided that you use the Events Calendar native interface (and not the Theme’s events interface), it should be pretty much smooth sailing.

As a side note, Community Tickets absolutely requires both Community Events and Event Tickets plus to work. You unfortunately cannot run it standalone.

As stated before, I am pretty sure you could also expand Eventium’s built-in functionalities.
However, I am unfamiliar with it’s possibilities of Template customization. So you would have to check with it’s authors.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Let me know what you decide.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
