ParticipantI can not edit the event tickets after I made them. I can only “edit in Woocommerce”. If I click the “Edit” button on a ticket, it will grey out and nothing happens.
This topic was already posted but I found that it has to do with the theme DIVI installed. This issue has something to do with DIVI. I don’t know what. When I change to another default theme, the edit button does work. But I want to be able to edit the tickets also with DIVI activated, otherwise I can never change soms things like the sale end date . Because I can not do that in the Woocommerce edit version of the ticket. Or can I ?
Thanks !

MemberGood evening Roger and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the fact that you can’t edit tickets after their initial creation. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete most recent system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

On a related note, I just ran a quick test with the latest version of our plugins and Divi and I was not able to reproduce this issue.
In a way that’s good news, because I am pretty sure that we can do something about it.While you are at it, would you mind sharing the version number of the Divi copy you are using ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Roger,
Thank you for writing back and for sharing your system information.
Based on that, it looks like you might be using a Divi Child theme.
Could you please send me a copy of your Divi child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
Furthermore, if you could tell me which version of Divi is installed, that would be awesome.
Hang in there as we sort this through.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Martin,
Thank you for the files.
That allowed me to run some tests. Here are my results:
- With your Divi Child theme I was able to reproduce the issue
- With your Divi Child theme and the the Events Calendar customizations, but an almost empty functions.php, the issue was gone. But only with new tickets. Existing tickets that were created with your full functions.php activated were not possible to save.
So in other words, it seems like something in your child theme’s functions.php is “corrupting” the ticket creation process (not sure what exactly). But at least we are closer to the issue.
The next step would be to examine each entry in that file (removing it) and testing a new ticket until you find the actual culprit.
I realize this is time consuming, but it is most definitely worth it.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening,
I am glad you found the culprit! Kudos on that.
The good news is I am pretty sure we can find a way to make that snippet work AND enable you to edit your tickets without going to WooCommerce.
The first thing I would recommend trying is updating that snippet so that it matches this one: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-ticket-form/
As you can tell, there are a couple of differences in the way the function is declared. Hopefully that will suffice.
If not, please let me know so that we can take this to the next level. As per your second question, you are right, there seems to be an built-in filter in there that wipes the decimals when “,” is used as a separator.
I will ask Dev to see where that filter is located.
Let me know how that goes.
