Offering my members a discount code or coupon for lower price to an event?

Yes, absolutely.

In order to sell tickets, you will need:

1. Our Event Tickets free plugin https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
2. Our Event Tickets Plus premium add-0n https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/

Once that is done, you will need to setup the e-commerce plugin of your choice ( WooCommerce being the most popular )
From there, you will need:

• Another plugin that lets you manage discounts based on user role (if your members have a special WordPress user role). E.g.: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-role-based-price/
• A discount code (known only to your members) requires no extra plugin, it can be added directly within your e-commerce plugin.
