MemberGood evening Alana,
Thank you for taking the time to write back.
How do I export order and attendee info? I do not see that but I am sure it is there.
Usually, this is accessed by going to the tickets section of an Event and looking for the View attendees and View orders button (the labels might be slightly different since you are using an older version).
From these screens, you should be able to print or export any entry.
The following guide is for the most recent version, but it should still provide you with the correct principles to achieve the exports.
Another safety precaution is to do a full database backup in case anything goes wrong.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Joanna,
Thank you for the additional info.
I have found the cause of the design issue.
What is going on is that the stylesheet of another plugin is interfering with the proper display of the admin are for the Events Calendar.More specifically the competing plugin is WP user front-end.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.tribe-field-wrap .tooltip {
position: relative !important;
width: auto !important;
background: transparent !important;
}As for the Google Maps API issue, it looks like you have made some progress (even though it is not working yet). Kudos!
The authorization issue is gone. With that in mind, there are 2 things to try from this point on:
- You could tweak and apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/ca3baf77c9be8b72f37db10c7c91783b#file-functions-php
But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.
- You could try editing the venue tied to a single event and make sure the latitude + longitude checkboxes are used. Sometimes that works.
You might have to reach out to your theme author to know what the name of the Google Maps API function they are using is (to tweak the snippet).
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Jonathan,
Thank you for writing back.
First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual. Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things. The problem is, though, that I cannot update from WordPress because I am getting the message.
In this case, your best bet is to perform the initial update manually:
- Deactivate and delete Event Tickets Plus
- Download the latest version from https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
- Use WordPress’ built-in “Add plugin” and upload the plugin.
- Activate Event Tickets Plus
This will not remove the message or enable you to update automatically, but it should fix the functionality issue. In other words, it will buy you some time.
As for the license key issue, I understand what you mean.
Technically license keys belong to accounts (customers), not websites. In your case, this means that it belongs to the original developer.
To solve this here are the different options available:
- Ask the original developer to handover its account to your customer (if that is possible), providing you with complete control
- Upgrade your current license to a business license to accommodate your client (by using your license keys)
- Open up an account in your clients’s name so that they have complete control of their licenses (usually the preferred approach)
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening April and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have bumped into while attempting CSV imports.
I would love to help you with this topic. Before anything, can you confirm if you have read the following guides ?
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/
However, there is no field in the importer to map “true” or “yes” to “Show ticket description”.
So, we can upload 500 tickets, but have to open each and every one of them to tick the checkbox??? Tell me that I’m doing something wrong please!
Ideally, you should not have to do this manually. I believe that the default is that the description will show.
Since every situation is a bit different, would you mind sharing the different CSV files and the exact import steps you are using ?
This can be done via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Patrick and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered while trying to activate Event Tickets Plus on your website. I would love to help you with this topic.
What I believe is going on is that you need to first download and install the Event Tickets Plus premium add-on before being able to register its license key on your website.
Please walk-through the following procedure: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-event-tickets/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Michael and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
The image height in the photo view will depend a lot on the theme you are using (and its CSS rules). In other words, it is a bit different on every site.
With that in mind, once I get a better look at your website, I will be able to offer better counsel on the changes to perform to achieve your goal.
Depending on the case, I will either recommend CSS or tweaking the photo view via a template override.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

December 14, 2017 at 10:16 pm in reply to: Can Not See Events In The Events Calendar After Migration To New Host? #1406172Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Martin and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the events not displaying properly after migration.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I recommend is reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
Once that is done, try downgrading the Events Calendar Pro to 4.4.18 to see if that helps.
If it does not, can you try re-saving your permalink ?
If that still does not work, could you tell me what process was used for the migration (a simple copy of the Database and files ? a specialized plugin or service ? Manually changing the paths in the database ?)
Hang in there!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about your site running slowly due to very large images being uploaded by your users. I would love to help you with this topic.
The first thing you should know is that there are free alternatives to WPSmush that can handle larger image files. EWWW Image Optimizer comes to mind.
Shouldn’t we be able to control the file upload size to begin with?
Yes you can. By default users get the exact same limit than you do as far as the upload size allowed.
The good news however is that there are plugins to let you control that a little better.
Here is an example of such a plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-upload-restriction/Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Secondly, would you mind temporarily installing and activating our Event Tickets free plugin (even if you are not using it) to see if the issue goes away ?

MemberGood afternoon Paul,
It looks like this is a duplicate thread of https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/seminar-import-field-matching-not-possible/.
As such, I will close this one and continue to help you over there.

MemberGood evening,
Thank you for writing back.
You are absolutely right. Our apologies.
When something like this happens, after a backup of your database, we typically recommend downgrading back to the last working version of our plugins on your site.
I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
More specifically, rolling back to the Events Calendar Pro 4.4.18 fixes the issue.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch. We are actively working on a solution for this.
Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
The other set of good news is that this should receive a high priority based on our large Divi customer base.Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
Best regards,
Geoff B. - You could tweak and apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/ca3baf77c9be8b72f37db10c7c91783b#file-functions-php
