MemberGood afternoon Frank,
Kudos on finding the universal snippet and for coming up with a solution that, even if imperfect, works short term.
On our end, we did make some progress on this issue: we identified the cause of the issue and we are currently testing alternate methods to save the data in the DB.
As you can imagine, we want to thoroughly test this before releasing a fix (to avoid a similar scenario).
Hang tight as we do just that and have a great week!
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Keith,
It looks like you might be on to something.
Here’s what I suggest:
- This type of error usually suggests that there is an issue either with your WooCommerce Paypal gateway setting OR that the email you have on file there does not / no longer matches the one found in your actual Paypal account. I would make sure that all is good on that end.
- Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I suspect there is some kind of snippet in there that tries to turn the ticket orders to “Complete” automatically. The reason I bring this up is because tickets are not sent until the order status is “Complete”.
Hang in there and have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Wendy and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. As you pointed out, Polylang is not supported at this point.
As you might also know, for now, our ressources are focused on expanding compatibility with WPML.Since that project is not near completion, it is unfortunately very unlikely that we will be able to tackle this issue.
With that in mind, a lot of users have managed to get most of our features working with Polylang and sometimes QTranslateX.
For that reason, it is part of our mid-term roadmap (this fall) to investigate the efforts required to expand our compatibility to other multilingual plugins.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.
As per your specific situation, there are still a couple of things you could do on your end:
- Use a redirection plugin and add a rule to rewrite that type of URL to your liking (to include the prefix for example)
- Make template customizations for the views you want to tweak. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. Basically what that means is that you’ll be able to control how that “View alll…” links work
I realize this is not perfect, but I truly believe it could improve your situation.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening,
There is an update on this. We managed to find the cause of the issue and to come up with a fix while working hand-in-hand with the WPML team.
To make a long story short, the fix is contingent on a release of a new version of their plugin.
We are following up regularly on this, but as you can imagine, this is unfortunately outside of our control. We can only hope that this will be resolved really soon (for everybody’s benefit).
With that in mind, and to provide a better experience to your users, there is a temporary workaround.
It’s less than ideal, but it works. What you need to do is to make sure none of the url slugs are translated (e.g.: list, venue, organizer).
We are truly sorry about the inconvenience this has caused and we have worked hard with the WPML team to ensure such issues will not happen again.
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Truss,
For the second question, based on your answer, my best recommendation would be for you to use our premium Event Tickets Plus plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
Using that plugin in combination with WooCommerce (which is free), would allow you to completely automate the handling of how many spaces are left for an event. Including when the event is fully booked.
It also opens the door for people to complete their purchases online.
If that’s too involved to your liking, you can opt for our free Event Tickets plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
That also handles stock (remaining places for the event), but it works on an RSVP only basis. In other words, there is no actual transaction, just a reservation of a spot (or many) at the event.
As per your first question, just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We have built our plugins in a way that allows our customers to tweak them to their liking. But we unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, and understanding you are not that technical, this leaves you with a couple of options:
- Find the view or shortcode that comes the closest to what you want to do. You might want to take a look at http://wpshindig.com/events/ where all the possible views from Pro are available.
- Hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
My recommendation would be to go through option 1 first.
If that doesn’t seem to suit your needs, I would then ask for quotes in option 2.Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Frank,
Thank you for writing back, for your understanding and for your great words.
Yes, I totally understand that your confidence might not be at a high point as it stands.
As you stated earlier, even with testing, there can be completely undesired bugs that creep in as new features are rolled out.We take this matter and any other bug very seriously. In fact this is why we have a maintenance release scheduled every 2 weeks.
We just hate bugs!Let me know how it goes with your client. On my end, I will continue with a daily follow-up on the issue with the Dev team.
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Karly,
As you said, it looks like this will not be such a big thing to fix.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed and as promised, you will be advised as soon as the fix is out.
Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Bill and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the maps not displaying on your site.
I would love to help you with this topic. As of June 22nd Google made some pretty important changes on how it handles Google Maps API (especially for wildcards API).
The first thing that I would recommend would be to read the following attentively: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Best regards,
