    Good evening Dorian,

    Thank you for writing back.

How does the calendar integrate with an ecommerce plugin? Which works the
    best with yours?

    This is a great question.

To integrate with an e-commerce plugin, you will need 2 things:

    1. Our free Event Tickets plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
    2. Our premium Event Tickets Plus plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/

From there, you can choose the e-commerce of your choice: Easy Digital Downloads, WP E-Commerce, WooCommerce

The most popular plugin (and perhaps the most flexible) is WooCommerce.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Peter,

I am glad you like the end result.

    Let’s answer your final questions.

    – Does it make any difference in speed launch if an event is made reoccurable per month or per 1/2 year?

The answer to that question is the more recurrences for any event, the “longer” it takes to generate initially.

But now that the other issues are fixed, the difference should be minimal.

    – If i want to extend a reoccuring event let’s say after a month what is the best way to do this (grab one of the reoccuring posts and and edit the reoccuring settings or edit the whole series at the end)?

The best way to do this is to use the “edit all” link (editing the “parent” event) and re-saving it after either:

    1. Changing the settings under Events -> Settings -> General
    2. Changing the end date of a recurrence rule

In other words, every time you re-save a parent recurring event, it should regenerate the series (extend or reduce depending on your changes).

Additionally, because of your awesome cooperation, I have extended your licenses for a full extra year.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Bill,

I’m glad this is moving along nicely for you and that you were able to move along in spite of the differences in your tickets.php file.
    Good job!

To answer your question, yes this is the correct behaviour. The total will always show up when you reach the cart screen.
If you wanted a different behaviour, that should be possible through additional customization.

Thank you for your fantastic words.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Alan,

Thank you for the files and for the tests.

Did you also try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme as per my suggestion ?

On my end, I was unable to reproduce the issue with your theme unfortunately.

As per your week view issue. I would recommend re-saving your permalinks.

Finally, if that still does not work, I would recommend trying different settings under Events Template dropdown in Events -> Settings -> Display.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Karly,

I went ahead and asked a colleague of mine to test it and he had the same result as you.
It seems like the inline JS sometimes does not get printed for the Venue.

I opened a ticket for this.

    Thanks once again!

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Frank,

Thank you for trying this out.
I actually took it a step further and downgraded all the way back to 4.1 (where it all began).

Unfortunately, I ended up with the same results as you: the bug is still there.

I just had a conversation with our product director about this bug and it is definitely at the very top of our list right now.
We are very aware of how terrible the consequences of such a bug can be! Once again we are very sorry about this completely unintended issue.

In the meantime, the only “workaround” I have for now is not great, but it should buy you some time.

What you could do is temporarily limit the quantity of tickets that can be purchased simultaneously.
I realize it’s far from perfect, but since we know exactly where the threshold is, at least you could get this thing running.

To do that, you could either use a snippet or a third-party plugin such as:

    1. https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-incremental-product-quantities/
    2. https://wordpress.org/plugins/min-and-max-purchase-for-woocommerce/
    3. https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-max-quantity/

Hang tight as we sort this one out!

    Best regards,

Good evening Keith and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us and for the system information.

We are sorry to hear about the tickets being sent multiple times to your customer. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

Could you please send me a copy of your Divi child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Additionally, since this not a systematic occurence, would you mind sharing some additional information on these 3 events:

    1. On these dates, was that the case for all customers or just 1 ?
    2. Is there anything in common between these customers ? (same product, payment gateway, similar tickets)

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

On my end, I am not able to reproduce this issue for now.

Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Hang in there as we figure this one out.

Good evening Kimberley and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the pagination not working on your site when searching by date.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your latest system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

I am totally able to reproduce this issue on your site, however, I have not been able to do that on my install.

I believe this might be related to the customization you are using to have a default category filter.

Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Good evening Dorian and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

When viewing the calendar, can images show in that view?

The short answer is yes. It is possible to have a similar view.

However, none of the built-in views are exactly like that. You can test the built-in views here: http://wpshindig.com/events/

This means that you will have to do a bit of template customization to achieve that exact result.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Some of these views (Photo, Map) require our the Events Calendar Pro add-on

Can you use Stripe or Auth.net

You can use any Payment gateway that your e-commerce plugin supports (e.g.: WooCommerce).
This is because the purchase process is actually handed over to your e-commerce plugin.

So, yes, these 2 gateways should work great.

    How do you handle Groupons?

    That’s a great question.
I don’t have the specifics of your situation, but most e-commerce plugins offer coupon codes.

WooCommerce even offers coupons based on URLs (https://woocommerce.com/products/url-coupons/), so I’m guessing that would be a good start.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Tim and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear that you are also impacted by this glitch. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As I wrote in the related thread, this is one of our top priorities right now.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when fix is released.

For the moment, my best (untested) workaround would be to downgrade to a previous version (avoiding Pro 4.2.2 at all costs).
It’s too early to tell if that will work, but I should have some news on that tomorrow.

Hang in there as we sort this out.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
