Good evening Ehsan and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products and your great words.

The best way to go about translating our plugins is to go here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects

As you can see, we have many plugins (free and add-ons).
Can you tell me which ones you would be interested in translating ?

I would recommend starting with the free ones of course. As the Iranian language is not there yet, you will have to go through the following procedure: https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/handbook/translating/requesting-a-new-locale/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Mark and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

We also want to collect more information from the user during the ticket purchase, particularly detailed student registration information. Do you have a suggested plugin or other solution for collecting more data from the user when offering tickets to an event?

Actually, there is no need for an extra plugin. You should be able to capture that information using the “Additional attendee information” feature.
You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/

    The proposed workflow is:

    1. User purchases one or many tickets for a single class
    2. Additional registration info will need to be filled out for each ticket
    3. User is redirected to checkout and can do what they want from there

As a side note, since you are one of our premium plugins customers, please use our premium forums for any future thread (as opposed to the pre-sales channel).

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Bill,

Thank you for writing back and for clarifying your question.

The file you mainly need to modify to achieve the desired results is indeed /event-tickets-plus/src/views/wootickets/tickets.php
As suggested in the themer’s guide, you should create a /tribe-events/ folder in your WordPress child theme and then a wootickets subfolder.

It all starts at around line 43 of that file (‘<td class=”woocommerce” ‘).

That being said, it is possible that you might need to edit your WooCommerce template as well (depending on your WordPress theme).

If you are unsure, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Additionally, could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Giovanni,

Thank you for writing back, for testing the suggested snippet and for your system information.

I am sorry the snippet did not work for you. Out of curiosity, have you tried re-saving that page after applying the snippet.
I am asking because, the snippet does not always work retroactively / automatically for existing content.

If that still does not work, based on what I can see, I am pretty sure there is a conflict between our plugins and your WordPress theme.

Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Hang in there as we try to sort this through.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Frank,

Thank you for writing back and taking the time to express the importance of this for your organization.

Please know that we take this matter very seriously as well and I am terribly sorry about the inconvenience, especially provided the timing of things.

In fact, we share your goal: we would like to resolve this ASAP.
That being said, full disclosure, even with our best ressources tackling this, it might take a few days to pinpoint and have a fix.

At the time of writing, I unfortunately do not have any updates for you on this topic. I do promise to keep you updated as soon as there is any progress on this.

That being said, since time is of the essence, if you are up for it, I would like to suggest something that might serve as a workaround.
Provided the situation, I think it is worth a shot.

My idea would be to downgrade your plugins. You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

If in fact this bug was only introduced in a recent version, reverting back to a previous version should fix the issue temporarily.

To save time, I would recommend rolling back all the way to 4.2 first, moving up towards the latest version (ideally in a staging environment).
As a side note, whatever you do, please do not install version 4.2.2 of the Events Calendar Pro as there was a glitch with recurring events in it. You should favour 4.2.2.1 instead.

Of course, as with anything else, before you do anything, it is highly recommended to do a complete database backup first.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Nigel and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would love to help you with this topic.

This is actually pretty straightforward. All you need to do is to head over to https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/

Once you are there, look for the big blue button on the right. Just under it, there should be the option to upgrade to a Business license.

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Alan and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the mobile version of the month view displaying on your site, regardless of the screen size.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a side note, before we begin, it seems like you are actually not fully at the latest versions.
the Events Calendar is now at 4.2.4 and the Events Calendar Pro at 4.2.3

I would strongly advise not touching the plugin core files.
If you want to make changes, I would recommend using our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

To answer your related question, yes the snippet can go “anywhere” in your functions.php file. As long as you don’t paste it in the middle of another function, you should be fine. If you are struggling with this, I can do it for you.

That being said, I suspect that the cause of the issue is some template customization in your WordPress theme (that might need some updating).

Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

On your end, you can do a quick test to see if temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen solves the issue.

Good evening Jan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear that the map view did not work properly on your install.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I just went ahead and checked your website and everything seems to be working properly.
    Can you confirm ?

If that’s not the case, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Secondly, you might want to read the following article to make sure your Google Map API is setup properly: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/

    Good evening Math,

I’m super stoked that this worked out for you!

Thank you for providing the system information as well. Everything seems in order on that side.
My only recommendation would be to make sure you still need the following plugin: The Events Calendar: Snippet 950694

Is there anything else I can help you with on this topic today ?

Good evening Truss and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    1. Is is possible to show current events (like I have right now), but also events in the past. I want to show them as thumbnails on homepage as they are holidays.

The short answer is yes, you can customize calendar views to your liking, including widgets.
In fact, we built our plugins with that very goal in mind.

However, there is currently no built-in functionality to accomplish the exact results you are looking for.
This means that you will need to do some template customization or custom page templates to achieve your goals.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Our Pro add-on lets you use shortcodes and advanced widgets (for these same shortcodes): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/#event-list-shortcode

This is how you could display the calendar on the page of your choice (including the home page).
You will be interested to know that we are about to expand our shortcode list to include a shortcode for the full calendar as well very soon.

As an alternative, you can hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    2. When an event is fully booked. Is it possible to marque as ‘complete’ somewhere?

    Yes, that is certainly possible.

However, I am not sure what your current setup looks like. So I have a couple of follow-up questions:

    1. How are you tracking that your event is booked ? Manually ? Through a plugin ?
    2. Are you using an E-Commerce plugin on your site ? ( WooCommerce, EDD, etc… )

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
