September 28, 2016 at 12:38 pm in reply to: How do I make event tickets visible in woocommerce #1169995Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Helder,
Thank you for clarifying that.
Full disclosure, I cannot guarantee that our plug-ins Will work nicely with the WooCommerce name your price extension.
That being said here are a couple of links that I think could be helpful in achieving that goal. Please note however, that these are untested.
- Check out this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/selling-tickets-from-the-woocommerce-products-page/
- Please try the following snippet which removes the exclusion of Tickets being used in a product: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/add-ticket-to-woocommerce-product/#post-1167928
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Andrew,
I am sorry to hear that the snippet did not help.
I do have a couple of follow-up questions for you though:
- When you used the snippet did you enter your API key in the appropriate section in it?
- Also, if you have done the previous properly, were you at least able the click on that fix venue button?
If that still wasn’t helpful to you after confirming two things above, it looks like your only option would be to check with your web host for now unfortunately.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Jasper,
I am mostly glad you managed to solve this.
Thank you for sharing that “List” was not checked (even though it was supposed to be the default view.I am not sure how that came about either, but it will come in handy if other people report similar issues.
You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.

September 27, 2016 at 11:10 pm in reply to: How to add Ticket Price in the Attendees Report in both front end and Dashboard #1169652Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Tic Tac and welcome back!
The short answer to your question is yes. That is possible.
However, as you might guess this is a template customization. If you haven’t already done so, I would recommend that you read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
You might want to look at my colleague Nico’s snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/add-ticket-price-to-community-tickets-attendee-reports/#post-1103192 That does precisely what you are looking for.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Karoliina and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Will this plugin allow me to create a waiting list?
That is a great question, in fact it is a highly popular feature request. You can see it here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/6095921-add-waitlist-capability
And As you can see, there is a partial solution provided. One of our customers even used a third-party plug-in to deal with this.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Lynette,
Thank you for writing back.
Based on that screenshot you sent me, I believe that the issue you have experienced is cause by the use of Single quotes in the code you are using to display the list. In fact if you pay careful attention, you will notice that the text changes colours between those two single quotes you have in your sentences.
The first thing I would recommend trying it, is to escape the single quotes by simply adding a backslash in front of them. See the following article on that topic: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2428572/how-to-escape-single-quote
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberBonjour Alexandre,
.tribe_community_edit #tribe-community-events .tribe-events-before-html {display:none;}Salutations,

MemberGood evening Ryan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the calendar disappearing on you in January.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing I am noticing, is that you are using an older version of WordPress. If at all possible, and after a database backup, I would highly recommend updating that version to a more recent one.
But, before doing that, the next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Marina,
Thank you for writing back.
Based on your system information, it looks like you are still using WP rocket plug-in.
Unfortunately, even though this used to be a great plug-in, it is no longer supported and is known to not be compatible with the events calendar plug-in since version 4.0.So I would definitely recommend deactivating the plug-in to begin with and see how that goes.
If that still doesn’t solve the issue, the next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

MemberGood evening Jasper and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about that the events page renders a 404 on your website.
I would love to help you with this topic.I have a few follow-up questions to try to troubleshoot this further.
You mentioned that you went through the testing for a conflict procedure. Can you confirm if you’ve tried switching themes as well?
More specifically, have you tried reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as 2015?Finally, could you go to Events -> Settings -> Display and try different settings for the events template Drop down menu?
Hang in there as we try to figure this one out

MemberHey Mister Peri,
Thank you for writing back. Actually I had not registered for this stage at all, but I just did.
I am pretty sure I am the only one with a @tri.be email address 🙂Since you cannot take the site down, even for a minute, our best shot would you be for me you try To reproduce this on my end.
Could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates you might have made. While you are at it, it would be awesome if you could package the different plug-ins found on that site as well.
Of course, please do so in a private reply.Hang in there as we figure this out.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
