MemberBonsoir Alexandre,
Salutations,

MemberGood evening Max and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. If we are looking for a system to create events, publish them to the web on our site and take payment for tickets for our company’s events which version do we need and which add-ons do we need?
In order to do that, you will need the following plug-ins:
- Our free the Events Calendar plug-in https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
- Our free Event tickets plug-in https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets/
- Our premium Event Tickets Plus add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
- The e-commerce plug-in of your choice ( WooCommerce, EDD, WP E-commerce, etc..)
Can we use Eventica + The Events Calendar PRO Demo or do we need Eventica + WooCommerce Tickets Demo?
Although it works great with our ticketing solutions. the Events Calendar Pro is not required to accomplish your goal.
Furthermore, WooCommerce Tickets has been replaced by Event Tickets Plus. What is the cost to accomplish our goal?
It looks like the cost of accomplishing your goal is $89 USD.
This will provide you with one year of updates for Event Tickets Plus as well as premium support. All of the events for Demo #2 are sold out so I cannot identify if that allows us to take payments.
Yes with the set up described above, you will be able to take payments.
You will just need to set up your favorite payment gateway in your chosen e-commerce plug-in.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Charles and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.can I set up 200 tickets and have e-commerce and RSVP draw from that same pool?
That is a great question, the short answer is no. You cannot have e-commerce and RSVP tickets draw from the same pool (Global stock).
That being said, I believe you could use a different solution for this.
You could have only e-commerce tickets and handle the different required scenarios with a combination of payment methods and discount codes. For example if you use WooCommerce as an e-commerce plug-in, you can have several payments types available including cash on delivery and cheque.
You could still use several types of e-commerce tickets, but with this approach a single type of tickets would suffice.some attendees will have the conference covered by scholarship, but have to self-fund childcare … so theoretically, I’ll have some transactions (or customers) that are a mix of payment types … can Event Ticket Plus handle this?
My recommendation would be to set up the childcare as a separate WooCommerce product. Using a simple code snippet in your theme’s functions.php you could redirect the customers to that product page. Additionally, you can present this separate product as an upsell when customers reach the shopping cart.
So I guess the answer is yes, Event Tickets Plus can handle this.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening STEPHANE and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
That is a great question.
You are right, it would be better to replace the “all” link using a function than trying to replace it directly in our plug-in’s code.
I will need to ask around, but I am pretty sure that the functions that need to be changed are located in /events-calendar-pro/src/functions/template-tags/general.php
Let me see if we cannot have snippets for that very purpose ?
Hang in there as I look that up for you.
As a side note, we can also continue this conversation in French if you prefer.
Best regards,

September 28, 2016 at 8:49 pm in reply to: How can I disable the automatic email I receive when I purchase tickets? #1170200Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Alex,
Thank you for writing back.
Unfortunately, we do not offer support via email. However, I was still able to find code snippet that you can add to your theme’s functions.php: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/67488cc3d5dda12a9e252e16e39191f4
Simply make sure that you do not paste the opening PHP tag.
Normally, that should results in the tickets email not being sent.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHey Brian,
Thanks to the fact that these are recorded separately, this has bumped this ticket to the top priority.
Thank you for that.

MemberGood evening again Brian,
Unfortunately, my earlier answers to the similar threats still apply 🙁
I am sorry I am sounding like a broken record on this, but the good news is that all of these should be fixed at the same time.
Thank you once again for your great understanding and input into this.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Brian,
Once again, I am very sorry that these files were not updated properly during our last update.
The same workaround provided in the previous answer should also work.
Hang in there as we try to include this in our next release.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Brian,
Thank you for writing back.
You are absolutely right, some of the translation files we’re not updated properly during the release of the last version of our plug-ins.
There is a ticket opened so that we can do that in our next maintenance release.
In the meantime you can safely update your PO file using the Pot file found in the /lang/ folder of the Event Tickets Plus plugin.
Just make sure you open the Pot file first and save it before you use the catalog update option.
I am sorry about the inconvenience this is causing.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Peter,
Thank you for answering my follow-up questions.
I have another follow-up question for you. Can you tell me which language you are using on your site? (I would like to run some additional tests) ?
The fact that the files you have deleted yesterday appear back on your website is very strange.
It sounds like there is an automatic backup solution for file change detection in place.
If it’s possible that someone is doing maintenance for your site or that you are under a managed WordPress web hosting plan?Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Alexander,
Thank you for writing back. You are absolutely right, it is not possible to use private replies while you are in the translation forums.
My bad. In the future, You probably will be better off using the Events Calendar Pro forums to have that possibility (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/post/).The best way to fully update your Swedish language files are:
- To try the “update catalog from pot file” option, while using the free Poedit software.
- To achieve that, you will need to download the /lang/ folder of each of our plugin
- Look for your languages .po file and open it
- Click on Catalog and choose “update from pot file”
- Save that PO file
- Repeat for the other plug-in
- Upload the files back to your site. Preferably in the /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder, so that your changes do not get overwritten when you update our plug-ins.
- Download the latest files from here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
- Make sure their filename matches the ones found in your /lang/ folder
- Overwrite the current files with the ones downloaded here.
Here’s a manual copy of the updated files: Swedish
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
