    Good evening Venkat,

    Thank you for writing back and providing more details on what you are trying to accomplish.

    I apologize for the delay in responding as we have been dealing with extremely high volume of threads and questions following our last release (4.3). We have adjusted staff accordingly.

    Not that it makes anything better, but please note that our premium support is actually closed on weekends unfortunately. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

    As per your request, I went ahead and ran some additional tests.
    It turns out that you are absolutely right. When used on normal post types, the Ticket image does not display.

    This is a bug and I have opened a ticket for it. Additionally, I will try to get a snippet for you to correct this.

    Ok, here is my requirement.

    This is not basically for events, its for exam test. So student may book their slots in advance. So we want to list out all available future exams and allow them to but the slots.

    It sounds like you might want to benefit from using our ticketing solution alongside our free the Events Calendar plugin which manages time slots really well (while integrating perfectly with our ticketing solution).

    How that would work:

    1. Download and install our plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
    2. Setup an event for each time slot
    3. Setup tickets for each time slot

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hey Gordon,

    Thank you for writing back.

    is it possible to create either actual separate calendars or the appearance of separate calendars?

    Yes you can. Filtering by category is the way to go here.

    You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂

    For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Good evening Tom,

    Thank you for writing back.
    Here are some answers that should help clarify things:

    I just want the page to open to the calendar; not just a list but a full-fledged calendar with filters, options, etc. Is your product doing this now?

    Yes, our products can do exactly what you are describing. The month view of our full calendar is what you will want to use.

    Since you are looking to use this as your main page, you will need the our Pro premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
    With that in hand, take a look at the following shortcode guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

    This will turn your home page in a calendar super easily.

    As for filters, if you want more than filter by date or location, you might be interested in our Filter Bar add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-filterbar/

    I am sorry that you did not like your previous experience with our plugins.

    However, please note that you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one as long as you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

    So in other words, you should have plenty of time to test things out to your liking.

    As per the price, please keep in mind you are also receiving access to our premium support forums where we will absolutely be happy to help you set things up.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Deborah and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about your mini-calendar not displaying properly under certain resolutions with your theme. I would love to help you with this topic.

    Your best bet would be to handle this with some CSS rules.

    Something along the lines of:

    @media only screen and (min-device-width : 768px) and (max-device-width : 1024px) and (orientation : portrait) {
    .container .av-content-small.units {
    width: 100%;
    }

    #top #main .sidebar {
    float: left;
    }

    .inner_sidebar {
    margin-left: 0px;
    }

    }

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Ed,

    Thank you for writing back.
    I must say that the CSS rule not kicking it is very odd.

    Looking a bit deeper at your site, I am suspecting some kind of caching issue (between W3TC, the CDNs, etc…). For testing purposes, I would recommend deactivating all of it temporarily

    Also, would you mind using your child theme and using the edited tickets.php file ?

    As for your second question about the spam, my best recommendation is to use, configure and test a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

    This should resolve that issue.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Nicolas,

    Thank you for writing back.

    As a side note, please make sure you use a different slug for the main calendar page (e.g.: events) than the one you use for single events (e.g.: event). Otherwise you are bound to experience some unexpected behaviour.

    Could you give the following CSS rule a shot:

    .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image img {
    max-height: 173px;
    overflow: hidden;
    }

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Kelly,

    Thank you for writing back and figuring out what the issue is.

    I am sorry about the conflict with Gravity forms.

    My recommendation would be to:

    1. Provide me with temporary front-end “organizer” access credentials (in a private reply). That way I can see what can be done.
    2. Also open a ticket with the good folks at Gravity forms

    Hang in there!

    Best regards,

    Hey Oliver,

    Welcome back!

    I have not forgotten about your formal vs informal translation thread.
    This is surprisingly more involved than I would have thought. So hang in there.

    As per your current question, this is really odd.
    I am thinking that perhaps what happened is that:

    1. The language files were not refreshed properly prior to release
    2. They were pulled in replacement of the existing ones with the 4.3 release

    Let me investigate with Dev and Leah and get back to you on this one.

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Hans-Gerd and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this to our attention.

    You are absolutely right, there was a change of container in 4.3!

    I have asked for clarification on this to see if this was indeed intentional.

    I will open a fix ticket for that right away.
    Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.

    Good evening Monica and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the display issues you are experiencing.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Secondly, could you provide me with an example (perhaps the URL to the page containing the shortcode) ?

    I noticed that I also lose all the changes made to the style.css on my childtheme and what I get displayed is the generic calendar in its original form and colors.

    I am a bit confused by this statement. Are you saying that the style.css changes are no longer in your child theme or that they are not applied ?

    Could you provide me with copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

    Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
    This way I will get access to any updates you might have made.

    Also, can you provide me with a screenshot of your settings under Events -> Settings -> Display ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Jarle and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us and for the fantastic words.

    We are sorry to hear about the confusing messages you are getting.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Let’s try to break this down to clarify things.

    The Your Event Aggregator Facebook connection will expire in about 2 months. message is triggered when you have successfully connected to FB from EA- which is actually totally unrelated to your license key.

    Secondly, the license key and the value that should go in the API field are totally different, can you confirm that you are not trying to use one for the other ? Better yet, could you send a few screenshots in a private reply ?

    For now, I do not think that the multi-site aspect of things is causing this.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Gordon and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    I’d love to know if the Events Calendar plugin will allow me to show a very basic/simple month view calendar (with arrows to navigate to the next/prev month) that simply displays (1) the days’ numeric dates which are (2) clickable

    This is very much what our Events Calendar widgets offer (http://wpshindig.com/event-widgets/). You should get a copy of our Events Calendar Pro add-on to get that.

    (3) when clicked allow me to display (somewhere) a simple to-do list style listing of the events scheduled for that day (by time)

    As you can tell, out of the box, the look is not one of a to-do list.
    But, the good news is that you can customize the look exactly to your liking.

    You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.
