MemberGood evening Venkat and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing while setting up a ticket page.
I would love to help you with this topic.Good news! You are doing everything perfectly.
The reason why the ticket is not showing up yet is because the start date for the ticket has not been reached yet (2016-10-15 8:00am).
You can try removing the date if you want to test it out. Or, you can simply wait until 8am today 🙂
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks for the clarifications. If you look at this following page, you will find there is no image displaying and none of the details showing like your demo page
http://gitservices.com/catalog/testing-ticket-1/ (i have put an image http://prntscr.com/cusr0s)
Your demo page
http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/Ok, here is my requirement.
This is not basically for events, its for exam test. So student may book their slots in advance. So we want to list out all available future exams and allow them to but the slots.
Actually the ticket selling dates are there but there is no option to select event date and time.
can you please explain how to achieve this?
Awaiting for your response.
Regards

ParticipantI am really worrying about your premium support. It was almost 2 days gone but none of you responded to this thread. What is your average response time? We were just stuck up with this plugin. I have clearly asked my questions in my first post. Let me know your interest in response.

MemberGood evening Venkat,
Thank you for writing back and providing more details on what you are trying to accomplish.
I apologize for the delay in responding as we have been dealing with extremely high volume of threads and questions following our last release (4.3). We have adjusted staff accordingly.
Not that it makes anything better, but please note that our premium support is actually closed on weekends unfortunately. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.
As per your request, I went ahead and ran some additional tests.
It turns out that you are absolutely right. When used on normal post types, the Ticket image does not display. This is a bug and I have opened a ticket for it. Additionally, I will try to get a snippet for you to correct this.
Ok, here is my requirement.
This is not basically for events, its for exam test. So student may book their slots in advance. So we want to list out all available future exams and allow them to but the slots.
It sounds like you might want to benefit from using our ticketing solution alongside our free the Events Calendar plugin which manages time slots really well (while integrating perfectly with our ticketing solution).
How that would work:
- Download and install our plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
- Setup an event for each time slot
- Setup tickets for each time slot
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Venkat,
I went ahead and dug deeper into this.
In order to do that, I re-read this thread carefully to make sure I was not missing anything.I would like to break this down to clarify everything and make sure we tackle all of your needs.
I have created a post with some information and Added a ticket to it. But i cannot see the ticket information in the page. I am looking exactly like how the following page
I should have picked up on this, but there is one major difference between your ticket and the http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/ page.
You are using Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus standalone in a “normal” page or post.
The example found in the link above are using these plugins in combination with the Events Calendar plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/This is why you are seeing much less information on your end. To get the same results, you will need to use the same combination of plugins.
If you look at this following page, you will find there is no image displaying
As it turns out, and this is my bad, the image in question is the ticket header image.
It will only display as part of tickets that are sent by email. If you want to add this image on the single event screen, you will need to do so using a template override. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Basically, you will want to change the /views/tickets/rsvp.php view.
More specifically, look for the following lineforeach ( $tickets as $ticket ) {Right after that you could add the following snippet (without the php tag): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/3f9b95956aba898947c67b2b197239dc
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
