Hi Leah,
After looking at V4.3 I realized that a lot of already existing translations (for all the languages) disappeared for the following plugins:
– The Events Calendar (65%)
– Event Tickets (75%)
– Tribe Common (90%)Do you have any idea where they are gone?
Apart from that I wanted to know where I can translate the new Events Aggregator – it’s not available at http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects (in return of a free license 😉 )
Best regards,
OliverOctober 17, 2016 at 12:26 pm #1177863Geoff B.MemberHey Oliver,
Welcome back!
I have not forgotten about your formal vs informal translation thread.
This is surprisingly more involved than I would have thought. So hang in there. As per your current question, this is really odd.
I am thinking that perhaps what happened is that:- The language files were not refreshed properly prior to release
- They were pulled in replacement of the existing ones with the 4.3 release
Let me investigate with Dev and Leah and get back to you on this one.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
October 19, 2016 at 4:26 pm #1179533Geoff B.MemberGood evening Oliver,
I followed up on this one, as promised.
As it turns out, there was an important glitch in the last release of our language files during the last release. We do take this seriously and I am personally doing the QA for the upcoming 4.3.1 release to make sure all of our language files are up to date.
The good news is that 4.3.1 is just about to be released so the problem should be fixed.
Moving forward, we want to increase the QA level of language files so that our international customers of all languages have a nicer experience.
I spoke with Leah and she says that if you bring the EA translation to 100% for German, the license is yours 🙂
Best regards,
Geoff B.

We just released our updates today and normally, the translation files in every language should be in much better shape!
Let me know if that is the case.
