Good evening Toby and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I have really good news. You can do exactly what you are looking for!

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

    Basically, you:

    1. Make a copy of the view you want to modify in a folder named “/tribe-events/”
    2. Remove the unwanted code from that copy
    3. Upload the /tribe-events/ folder in your WordPress theme

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Mark and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

The Events Calendar: Community Events Version 4.0.2
The Events Calendar: Filter Bar Version 4.0.2

So this is why we’re seeing an error message

These versions are outdated. We are at version 4.3 of both of these plugins.

Unfortunately, issues are bound to happen if you are using un-matching versions of our plugin suite.

As an alternative to upgrading, you might want to downgrade all of our non-premium plugins so that they match the version above: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Hernan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!o

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As you might already know, you can tackle some of the colours using the Appearance > Customize > The Events Calendar menu in your WordPress backend.

You can also use a specific CSS rule such as:

    .tribe-grid-allday .tribe-events-week-allday-single, .tribe-grid-body .tribe-events-week-hourly-single, .tribe-grid-allday .tribe-events-week-allday-single:hover, .tribe-grid-body .tribe-events-week-hourly-single:hover {
    background-color: #21759b;
    border-color: #14455c;
    }

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Alex and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

has this plugin been used in a Divi based website (by Elegant Themes). Each page on our customers test site is built triennially with the Divi builder so I need to be able to drop the selected EventBrite contents into one of their code modules or widget areas.

Yes it has. Many of our customers use Divi.

For optimal flexibility, I would recommend using our Pro premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

This will give you access to our full calendar shortcodes which will make Divi integration pretty straight forward: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Wim,

Thank you for writing back and for the screenshots.

I believe that I have found out what the issue is.
Your website is trying to use a “all” translated slug when it comes time to display all recurrences.

    This link breaks: http://www.zeeheldennieuws.nl/evenement/zhineng-qigong-vanaf-10-oktober-ruimte/alle/

But this one does not: http://www.zeeheldennieuws.nl/evenement/zhineng-qigong-vanaf-10-oktober-ruimte/all/

Notice the dutch translation “alle” in the first link.

The good news is that is a legitimate bug.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.

In the meantime, I have an imperfect workaround.
If you open up the Dutch .po file for Events Calendar Pro and replace “alle” by “all”, your links will be restored.

I realize this is not great but it will work until we fix this.

Your other option is to downgrade to the previous version of the plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.

    Best regards,

Good evening Gareth and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

We want to upgrade to a multisite license but it looks like we are going to be charged the full price again for each product. We did not realise at the time of purchase that there was a multisite license as it was hidden away with the text link.

Normally, the best way to go about this is to make the upgrade from the following page (while logged-in your account): https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/

Checkout the links on the right hand side. This way you will not get extra unwanted charges.

The other good news is that even if you accidentally purchased the wrong license, you are fully entitled to a refund as long as you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

So I believe this should go well.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening James and welcome back!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

I will open a ticket for this. In the meantime, if you don’t mind, could you also try the following change in the code on line 1376

    $message = sprintf( __( 'Tickets are not available as this %s has passed.', 'event-tickets' ), $events_label_singular_lowercase );

    Instead of

    $message = sprintf( esc_html__( 'Tickets are not available as this %s has passed.', 'event-tickets' ), $events_label_singular_lowercase );

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Hello again Paul,

    You are in luck!
One of our dev came up with the following (untested) code as a starting point: https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/f9de188d60f3a6f9e93cb050db7f7c0a

You can place that in the functions.php of your theme and use codes such as [tribe_past_events view="list"]

I would recommend not using that on the month view though.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good evening Tic Tac and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the upgrade not being a smooth experience so far.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Recently, we upgraded our plugins to 4.2.7 from older version and not all orders are marked as “completed”.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your latest system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

Could you also tell me which version you upgraded from ?

If I understand correctly, the issue is that previously the orders where being autocompleted properly and now, new orders are not.

The snippet you shared is actually from WooCommerce’s website: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/

Normally, that impacts all WooCommerce orders, regardless of their origin Event Tickets or other. So that should still work.

Could you tell me which payment gateway was used for the transactions where the status was not set to “complete” automatically ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Monique,

Thank you for writing back and answering my questions.

    1. “Share complete system information”: done by checking the option on my Event Help.

Thank you for that. Unfortunately, that will only kick-in next time you submit a thread.

Could you please follow the manual copy-paste procedure in a private reply for now ?

2 & 3. My website is under development, hence is not public for the view. I could arrange to change that if you need to peak inside of it and open a window for you to do so.

Thank you for the screenshots and the invitation for a sneak peek. For now, that will be enough.

It looks like you might be using the third-party Event Category Colors plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/

If that is the case, you would have to report this to the plugin author as this plugin is not supported by Modern Tribe

Without a look at your custom CSS rules, it’s hard to say why the rest of your changes are not kicking in. But my guess is that you are probably using some of the body classes (e.g.: post-type-archive-tribe_events, tribe-events-style-full, events-archive, etc..)

As such, you have a couple of options:

    1. Create a new page template that includes these classes in the body element
    2. Write additional rules that use the “page” class
    3. Change your rules to not include the classes found in the body element

    4. so after reviewing this first batch of info and images, let me know if you will still need this. In the meantime, the theme is Flatsome and is up to date as well as my wordpress.

Sure thing, let’s wait and see first.

    5. Adding it in the images (Display 01-04) but on a separate reply since is not allowing me enough space to add it all at once.

Perfect, thank you. Actually I do read Spanish (but can’t carry a conversation yet), so that was not too bad.

    6. “In addition to be facing the same problem” but, obviously, there is no way to know what problem that was since I did not add a link to his. Here is the link to what this person reported:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/shortcode-month-calendar-view-not-displaying-event-hoverover/

Thank you for clarifying that. This is actually the “Report a similar issue” button’s fault.
We are working on improving it, so bear with us.

As per my colleague Cliff’s comment, there is a bug fix on the way for that.

Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Paul,

    Thank you for writing back.

You can specify the date you are displaying in any view (e.g. [tribe_events view=”month” date=”2016-08″]). So that could be used for past events purposes.

But, there is currently no dedicated fully automatic way to achieve this (at least not built-in).

I opened a ticket to suggest that feature internally as I can totally see how that would be more robust in many cases and really cool feature to have.

In fact, I would recommend that you suggest it in our User Voice forum. That way it can get voted on.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Tom,

I am sorry that the testing for conflicts did not yield any results.

Did you also temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme ?

As for the “Help” menu that enables you to share your system information, depending on which version of our plugin you are using, this can vary.

It can either be found under Events -> Settings -> Help or Events -> Help

That information will really help us help you out.

    Hang in there!

    Good afternoon Michael,

    Yikes, this not good news!

I will take a look at this later on tonight, but I wanted to chime in to say we have not forgotten about you. We are simply handling a very high number of questions and threads after the last release (4.3).

We apologize for the delays this is causing.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
