MemberGood evening Glenn and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the maps not showing up correctly in your single event view.
I would love to help you with this topic. There are 2 things I would recommend as the next step:
- Try using exactly the same address format found in Google when doing a search. E.g.: Ross School of business should be 701 Tappan Ave and not 701 Tappan street
- Try checking the “Use latitude and longitude” checkbox in the Edit Venue screen
- Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that solves the issue (you might want to use a “maintenance page” plugin to hide that from your users).
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Alan,
Thanks so much for getting in touch!
I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for Event Tickets users here in our pre-sales forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum and all our premium forums to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- On the WordPress.org support forum for the Events Calendar.
- If you’re a current premium license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
With that in mind, the easiest way to achieve this is probably by creating a custom view (template override). We actually encourage our users to do this.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
As an alternative, you can probably simply hide the date with CSS: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. We are planning to purchase Events CalendarPro to manage bookings on a new website we are building.
Although the Events Calendar Pro is a great premium add-on with awesome features, to manage bookings you will be better off with Event Tickets Plus: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
Our client wants to be able to manually sell tickets i.e. on behalf of a customer rather than the user directly interfacing with the website.
There are a couple of ways to achieve this. But the important part is that this is totally feasible.
Here are a couple of ideas to ponder:
- You could require a user to be logged-in to see and purchase ticket while blocking front-end user creation.
Once that is done, you can simply create users as you go along and use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-switching/
- You could set everything up normally but control the WooCommerce payment option assigned to tickets (e.g.: offline credit card, cash on delivery, etc..) and make sure the order is placed to “pending” once completed on the front-end.
That way, only the admin or shop manager is able to manually to complete orders
- You could insert simple text about costs or even a form to gather customer info in the event description.
Once that is done, create tickets associated to a different post type (e.g.: normal blog posts). This is possible since tickets can be associated to any post type (page, post, custom post type).
Give those posts the same name as the event for simplicity’s sake and set these posts to password protected.
When the orders come in, go through the process of a customer purchasing the ticket in the other post type.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are right, this is broken at the moment of writing.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch. We are actively working on a solution for this.
Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. In the meantime, we do have a CSS workaround that you can use.
Read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/featured-event-color-will-not-change-after-update/Best regards,

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.how do get The Events Calendar displayed in the divi builder?
The simplest way to achieve this is with shortcodes (either calendar widgets or full calendar views).
To achieve that, you will need to grab a copy of our the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
Here are a couple of articles on that topic:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Let me know if that helps.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the change in functionality you have experienced.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
When we first set it up I could set ticketing with woocommerce.
Could you expand on this a little ?
Do you mean that you could add tickets as part of WooCommerce products ? That you could see the tickets in the WooCommerce shop ? That you no longer have the option of adding tickets that are sold using WooCommerce ?
A screenshot would be awesome to help pinpoint what the issue is.
Hang in there!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the weird error message you have been getting.
I would love to help you with this topic.By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Provided you have installed and translated everything according to our guides, it should work normally:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
With that in mind, there are a couple of things I would try:
- Head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page.
Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend:
- Clearing WPML cache
- Using ALL the cleanup buttons on that page
- Re-saving your permalinks
- Try different settings for Language filtering for AJAX operations
under WPML > Languages - Head over to Translation Management > Multilingual setup and scroll all the way to the bottom. Hit the “Translate Link Targets” scan and adjust button (this might take a while)
Finally, could you tell me what your setting is for How to translate strings in themes and plugins? under WPML > Theme and plugins localization ?

I would love to help you with this topic.Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.type-tribe_events.tribe-events-photo-event .tribe-events-photo-event-wrap:hover {
background-color: #333333 !important;
}Let me know if that helps.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. The best way to achieve this is to create a custom view for single events.
Our plugins are built in a way that makes this fairly easy. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

MemberGood evening Henrik and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.some times there is one person who needs to book/buy tickets for multiple people (business events etc).
Your best bet would probably be to use our Event Tickets Plus solution: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
This provides you with many awesome features, including the ability to add Attendee additional fields for each ticket (text, dropdown, etc…). To meet your registration needs, simply make all tickets free.
This will allow you to ask for the name and details of each attendee.
Another solution would be to just use our free Event Tickets plugin and book one ticket at a time (and perhaps limit ticket quantity to 1 to be extra sure): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
This works because when you confirm registration, you are not leaving the event screen with that plugin.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
