With that in mind, the easiest way to achieve this is probably by creating a custom view (template override). We actually encourage our users to do this.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
As an alternative, you can probably simply hide the date with CSS: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
