I just opened a bug ticket for this and I will see if this is fixable with a code snippet.

MemberGood afternoon Adam and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. This is a very interesting idea.
I am pretty sure this would be feasible with some customization of the different views involved.
Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, you could (this is just one of the potential solutions):
- Create a category called “Class #”
- Read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how view customizations work.
- Add a conditional to the title in the views to check if a recurring event is from Category “Class #”
- Add code to append or prepend that specific Category name + increment by one for each recurring event
If coding is not really your thing, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Ivan and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tag/categories no longer working for you after updating EC to 4.3
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, without seeing much, I am wondering if there is not a theme conflict at play here.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Have a good week-end,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Steve,
Thank you for trying this out. I am sorry that it did not kick in with your first attempt.
I just went back to your site and noticed that the bar is gone (and so is the padding). Kudos!
Do you still need my help on this ?

Thank you for the system information.
Everything seems to be looking good now.
Is there anything else left that is not working as it should ?

MemberGood evening Brian,
I am sorry the snippet provided is not more useful to you.
That other thread is actually a great one to help with your specific issue.
My understanding its that this is a WooCommerce cart template override. You can read about that here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/template-structure/
2. Maybe I should start a new thread, but I’ve installed the email options extension as well. However I am not getting CC’d on the tickets as I have selected.
Yes, thank you. That would help to keep things tidy.

MemberGood evening Jason,
Actually, I did not do anything. But I am stoked that this is finally working out for you.
I believe that changing the URLs to https and re-saving your permalinks at some point fixed the issue.
Let me know if I can do anything else on this topic ?
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Melanie,
I would recommend using the following extension: https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2016/10/tribe-ext-tickets-email-options-0-3-0.zip
It installs as plugin on your site and provides new options under Events -> Settings -> Tickets
I believe this will help accomplish what you are looking for.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Jonathan,
Thank you for writing back.
I totally understand where you are coming from.We are currently working on a patch to fix scenarios such as yours.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point.
But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix for this top priority issue is released. In the meantime, there are only 2 known work arounds:
- Making your whole site secure by switching both of these URLs to https (which you can’t do)
- Downgrade the Events Calendar plugin suite to an earlier version (4.2.7 / 4.26 will work for sure): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
