    Good evening Mark,

    Thank you for writing back.

For some reason, I am not able to access your site with that URL (or the /events/ URL for that matter).

Is it possible, that there needs to be changes to the host files for this to work ?

Without seeing more, it’s hard to say, but I would recommend trying the 2 following things:

    1. Experiment with different settings for the first 2 options found at Events -> Settings -> Display
    2. Make sure you re-save your permalinks after each attempt.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Jason,

    Thank you for writing back..

I am sorry that this did not work out for you.

Did the name of this feature change to Event Tickets Plus?

The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets actually did change names  to Event Tickets Plus.
In fact, we encourage our customers who are migrating from The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets to Event Tickets Plus to follow this guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/

You can get the latest version of all our plugins here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/

If so, I made a mistake by purchasing Everbrite. Would it be possible to swap the products for me?

It looks like you already went ahead and purchase Event Tickets Plus.

The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund for your Eventbrite tickets purchase if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening James,

    Thank you for writing back.

There is actually no upgrade path from personal to multisite.

The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.

We will totally honour that discount. Simply write to us using the contact form here: https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/ and make sure you reference this thread.

As for why things worked before for you, I am not quite sure.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Marie and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Is it possible to add recurrent event at different times?

Absolutely, you can have different times for recurring events.
If you have not already done so, I would highly recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

As you can see, if you use the “Custom” option, you will be able to select a different time as well.

And the link |Återkommande Evenemang (Se alla) to see all Recurring Event isn’t working.

That is a bug we just found. We apologize for the inconvenience.

A hotfix should be released very soon.
Stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Michael and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Actually, as my colleague Cliff suggested, adapting and using the snippet found at the bottom of this page in your theme’s functions.php file should work: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/

The other solution would be to use your modified rsvp.php file and putting it in your WordPress theme’s folder. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

This way, the file will not get updated when you upgrade the plugin.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Hello again Sylvia,

I hit “Send” before completing my answer, my apologies.

Do not have the option to GPS coordinates?

You can use latitude and longitude in the Edit Venue page.

Also not available with plugins to share in social issues?

Most of our users prefer to use their own Social sharing plugin. This should work with events as long as your plugin is compatible with custom post types.

If you buy the pro version, is support only done in forums

Yes, absolutely. In fact here is what you get more precisely: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/

Is it possible to put a full-screen map instead of the featured image?

Yes. You can change any view to your exact liking.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Sylvia and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

You are correct we do not offer support for our free plugin in this premium add-ons forum.

But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.

If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar ?

With that in mind, I would highly recommend reading the following to help solve the map issues:

    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/

Good evening Sascha and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a side note, we can totally continue this conversation in French should you want to.

There are a couple of ways you can control strings:

    1. Adapting and adding the code snippet found at the bottom of this page to your theme’s functions.php: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
    2. Modifying the views of your choice using template customization. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. This would enable you to take the single event view file and change the title.
    3. Simply changing the plugin’s language file using the free Poedit software.

If you want to use the last option, I would recommend making sure you have the latest French language files. You can get them here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projectsà

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Håkan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the Google map not displaying properly on your Venue pages.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I just went ahead and looked at the link you have provided us and on my end I can see the map.
Did you change anything since submitting this ticket ?

As a side note, I am also noticing that you are using WPML.
I highly recommend reading and using the following guides:

Good evening Geoffrey and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

What is going on is that our plugin uses some of WordPress’ Archives mechanics.
With some themes, that results in the page title being switched to Archives.

Here are a couple of potential solutions to this issue:

    1. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-the-events-calendar-with-constants/#tribe_modify_global_title
    2. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/changing-event-page-title-archives/

Good evening Byron and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear that you have not been able to change the colour of the text to your liking.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    #tribe-events .tribe-events-content p {
    color: white !important;
    }

As an alternative, you might want to play with the first 2 settings under Events -> Settings -> Display to see if you do not like the results better.

Good evening David and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear that the tickets are not being sent to your clients.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You are right. In order for the tickets to be sent, the order’s status has to be set to “Complete”.

Unfortunately, our built-in functionality does not work for some of our customers.

The solution would be to add the following snippet to your WordPress theme’s functions.php: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good afternoon Cary and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about your calendar showing as not installed. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

It sounds like something went wrong during the update process. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

The easiest solution would be to deactivate and delete all of our plugins (this does not impact saved and existing data – but you are welcome to make a database backup, since this is good practice).

Once that is done, I would recommend reinstalling them from scratch one by one.

I realize this is less than ideal, but it should get you back on track.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.
