MemberGood evening Riccardo and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.
The proper place to put your customized language file is in /wp-content/languages/plugins/
This will make sure that future updates will not overwrite your work.
However, you might need to update those custom language files from the pot file when we come up with plugin updates.Additionally, if you want to make your translation public, any help is always welcome here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Özgür and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the strings not being translated on your install.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please paste your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
I currently have part of your system info, but I would need all of it to troubleshoot properly.
Secondly, could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there as we investigate this together.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. This is a great question.
To get the Event Tickets Plus license field, you will actually need to download and install:
- Event Tickets (free plugin)
- Event Tickets Plus
You can get them both here: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
Additionally, I would recommend following the step-by-step guide found here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-event-tickets/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Cindy,
Thank you for running the tests and for writing back.
I am terribly sorry to hear that your customizations disappeared on you.
With that in mind, theme specific customizations (settings, metaboxes, CSS, etc..) are normally stored in the database.I must say I am quite puzzled that this does not seem to be the case for you ?
Could you tell me how you went about making the Database backup and restoring it ?This might prove very helpful to others down the line.
In any case, I am mostly glad that the Avada team helped with retrieving these.
All of the above Avada has helped me with. When I tried to get help from TEC it was a huge failure. I am told to go to the Themer guide. I should not be told that when paragraphs weren’t working, etc. Gratefully Avada support figured it out.
I totally understand how frustrating your situation must feel. Please know that I actually share your goal: solve things in the shortest amount of time possible.
I am terribly sorry that your experience with our support has not been good so far. Especially provided that making sure our customers get the best experience possible is very high on our priority list.
As for the paragraph not working, I do not recall handling this issue specifically. However, I apologize if you were told to go to the themer’s guide for that on behalf of the team here.
If on the other hand you are referring to my first reply in this thread, this is totally on me. At the time, I had misunderstood what this thread was all about. I wrongly assumed that you were trying to add new information to a view.
I appreciate you have spent a lot of time trying to help me. But now I’m so far behind and have a bigger mess than before. Please escalate my case to someone that has an Avada theme and can do some trouble shooting.
Once again, I am terribly sorry for all the inconvenience experienced while trying to troubleshoot this.
In the future, I would highly recommend setting up a staging site from the get-go to prevent such awful situations.
That being said, I think you should know that I do have Avada installed on my staging site (5.0.1) and that I have used it to run the tests with your CSV files.
As you know, the puzzling thing is that “Tucson” does not get stripped from the import when I try to reproduce the issue.
But, you are right, this has gone already much longer than any of us would have wanted / expected (and in spite of all of our hard work).
For that reason, I would like to follow your suggestion and escalate this to a new pair of eye.
Maybe there is something obvious that we both missed ?Hang in there as I hand this one over.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberBonsoir Audrey,

MemberGood evening Modar,
Thank you for writing back and providing more information.
Based on what you are saying, I would totally stand by my recommendation of a testing/staging server. This will make running tests much easier, including perhaps testing the non-modified version of https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-autocomplete-order/
Let me know how that goes and I am totally interested in seeing this through with you as I am sure it could also help other customers.
Have a great day!

MemberBonjour Thierry,

MemberGood evening George,
Thank you for writing back and making sure your setup is correct.
Let’s dig a bit deeper into those error messages.
The file that is being opened (/tmp/tribe_tmp_file_logger_2017-01-03.log) is in a temporary directory. The temporary folder is usually handled automatically by the system.
If you can assign permissions to the /tmp folder, then I would give it -755 or -775.
Otherwise I would recommend to contact your hosting provider, they should be able to help you out with this easily.
The “Permission denied…” message simply shows where the function resides that tried to open that file.
The second message seems to revealing some conflict between Enfold and our plugin.
Can you tell me if you have any kind of caching activated (either in the Events Calendar settings or else where on your site) ?
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

MemberGood evening Curtis,
Thank you for writing back.
I am glad the hack works for now!As stated earlier, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
With that in mind, based on the system information you have sent me, my toppotential candidates for conflicts are:
- The theme
- The Karma builder plugin
- The Event Calendar Shortcode Pro (third-party)
I realize this is a bit time consuming, but it might totally be worth your while.
