MemberGood evening Simon,
We have good news.
Until the fix is released, you could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/dc504166ac629c226fa9b1f8988bf082
This will force all of your tickets to become hidden.

MemberGood evening Johannes and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch.
We are actively working on a solution for this.Alas, I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.
They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. In the meantime, short you could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/dc504166ac629c226fa9b1f8988bf082

MemberGood afternoon Chelsea and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. However, in order to do that properly, I would need to have some example URLs to make sure I grasp what is going on.
Would you mind sharing that with me ?
Hang in there!

MemberGood afternoon Andrew and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.is the pricing for one year only?
Yes it is.
as i do i need to renew every year even if i don’t care about support?
The renewal also provides you with updates (fixes and new features).
If you wish to not renew, the plugin will still work, but you will have to freeze all of the the Events Calendar plugins to their versions at the time.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Brian and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error message you are receiving.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on our files, it looks like your the Events Calendar Pro license expired in 2016-10-06.
It should still be downloadable and work fine, as long as you use the Events Calendar 4.3.4 found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/advanced/
If that does not work, could you expand on the error message you are receiving ?

MemberGood afternoon Nick and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered while trying to upgrade.
I would love to help you with this topic. When you are facing such issues, there are 2 things you could do:
- Go to http://www.ieee-ukandireland.org/wp-admin/update-core.php and try updating from there
- Simply deactivate and delete the plugin (this will not impact events)
- You should then be able to install the latest version manually.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
Geoff B.Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Colin,
Thank you for your understanding and for taking the time to write back.
Actually, you can download previous versions here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/advanced/ (scroll down until you see the previous versions section).

MemberGood afternoon Mel,
No worries, we are indeed here to help and empower our customers 🙂
What do I do with the other H2 line that you highlighted? That is the place I manually change the title and it worked, but not sure where to put that line? See attached pic.
I believe there is a bit of confusion here. CSS files or Simple Custom CSS boxes are not meant to handle HTML elements, only the CSS rules.
In other words, the following is great (notice the use of { and } )
.tribe-this-week-widget-wrapper .tribe-events-page-title {
font-size: 18px!important;
text-align: left !important;
}But the actual HTML element should not be there
Events for week of April 17, 2017
So in short, the process is:
- Click on the page using the inspector
- Find the HTML element and look and it’s CSS rules
- Only paste the rule (not the element in the CSS file or Metabox)
As for the links still working, that is quite odd.
Is it possible that there is some kind of caching at play on your website ?
Can you confirm that you are indeed using the “This week” widget ?In any case, just for fun, after unzipping, could you slide the following file directly in the correct plugin folder ? single-event
The correct path is /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/this-week/
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood afternoon Josie,
Thank you for taking the time to write back and for running these tests.
This is very odd indeed. I am wondering if WP Super Cache is not interfering with the process here ? Would you mind completely deactivating it and flushing the cache for the purpose of troubleshooting ?
Worst comes to worst, the good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase.
However, before that, I would love to figure out what is going on and help you out!
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Secondly, could I have the URL you are trying to import from ?
Hang in there!

MemberGood morning Oscar,
Provided that there is no other products involved and that the billing address is yours, I just updated the customer file accordingly with your email.
For more efficient support, I would recommend using our premium forums moving forward (as opposed to the pre-sales forum).
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon James,
I totally understand what you mean.
To answer the second part of your question since this is a highly complex piece of coding (and based on the amount of time it took to redesign recurring events), the answer is likely months at this point.
We can’t wait to release this feature ourselves, so if all goes according to plan, this should make it in this year’s releases.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberThank you Mathew,
You are absolutely right. There is a possible second filter.
Cheers everybody,
