MemberGood evening Mike and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the colors not adjusting to your liking.
I would love to help you with this topic.Depending on your situation, these depend on:
- Your settings under Events -> Settings -> Display
- Your tweaks under Appearance > Customize > the Events Calendar
- Your CSS stylesheet
- Your site and/or your browser’s cache
If you have not already, I would recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-fonts-and-colours/
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.tribe-events-calendar thead th, .tribe-events-grid .tribe-grid-header .tribe-grid-content-wrap .column, .tribe-grid-header {
background-color: #f6f6f6 !important;
border-left-color: #f6f6f6 !important;
border-right-color: #f6f6f6 !important;
}Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Robert and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the events disappearing on you. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.It appears that the Events Calendar (free) plugin is inactive on your website for some reason.
In case you did not know, when running the Events Calendar Pro, you still need to have the Events Calendar (free) plugin active.
In other words Pro extends the free version. It does not replace it.
If you are having reactivating the Events Calendar, you can simply delete it and reinstall it from scratch (no events will be lost).
Let me know how that goes.

We are sorry to hear about issues you have encountered with the upload image button.
I would love to help you with this topic.There is a glitch in the CSS of the last release. Our apologies.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.tribe-image-upload-area .EventImage {
left: 0;
}.tribe-image-upload-area input#EventImage:hover {
cursor: pointer;
}Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the code showing up on your events pages. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.These look like server level messages (that you would find in a console typically).
Perhaps there is some debugging setting turned on at the server level ?The other possibility is that there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

MemberGood evening Ankita and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products. It’s truly appreciated.
However, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin in this premium add-ons forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar or perhaps consider the purchase of one of our premium plugins to get access to premium support ?
With that in mind, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.I have good news, we do have an extension that does add the phone number in the attendee reports: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/include-attendee-phone-number-in-the-event-attendee-report/

MemberGood evening Paul,
I am sorry that this did not yield better results.
At this point we’ll have to dig deep to find out what is going on.Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Additionally, could you please provide us with your latest system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
For one thing, the system information I have lists twenty seventeen as your theme which I am positive is not the case.
Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Gretel,
Thank you for the screenshot link.
The “Tribe Events” title appears to be generated by your WordPress theme.There are a couple of ways of tackling this:
- Try different settings for Events Template under Events -> Settings -> Display. Sometimes, that works.
- Tweak your archive.php file (or page-title.php) file to return a chosen title when Tribe Archive pages are displayed.

Thank you for writing back.
I can see the undesired behaviour on your website.
However, I am not able to reproduce it on my end. At least for now.Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

April 27, 2017 at 9:19 pm in reply to: Tickets for Recurring Events only appear for the first event in series. #1275590Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Elizabeth,
Thank you for your answer.
Right now, my process for updating our Events Calendar is to edit each event, I click edit, select the “edit just this event” option, breaking the event from the recurring series. When the event is broken from the series, the tickets disappear.
That is actually “normal” behaviour.
To put this into context, our current support for tickets with recurring events is limited to 1 set of tickets for all events of the series.
When you break an event from the series, the association to the ticket is lost and therefore you will need to create a new ticket for that event.
If I leave events in the recurring series, then the rsvp tickets are aggregated and an event for which no one has signed up, appears to be sold out.
That is correct.
This is a perfect example of what I was referring to above.I would like to be able to set up the recurring event without having the tickets aggregated for the series. Is this possible?
Alas, not for now.
The good news is that we are working hard at improving our ability to support tickets for recurring events.
It is too early to provide you with a release date, but stay tuned!
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Stephen,
Thank you for your answer.
Here is a screenshot of what I am talking about. Any ideas on how to fix the background color behind this heading and description text?
Unfortunately, it looks like the screenshot did not make it for some reason.
Would you mind trying again (perhaps with a weblink like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc…) ?the events on the homepage aren’t linking directly to facebook. Any ideas there?
Actually, on my end they all seem to link directly to Facebook.
Perhaps, something has changed ?Can you confirm ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.
